The new magistus wave continues
VJMP-JP264 Endymion, the Crescent of Magistus
LINK-2 LIGHT Spellcaster/Link/Effect
ATK/1850
Left, Bottom-Right
2 monsters, including a Level 4 Spellcaster monster
You can only use 1 of the 1st and 2nd effect of this card’s name per turn, and only once that turn.
(1) If this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 “Magistus” monster you control; equip 1 Spellcaster monster from your GY or banishment to it.
(2) During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Spellcaster Monster Card in your Spell & Trap Zone treated as an Equip Spell; return it to the hand.

This technically lets the Lacrima mill be searched.
How, she is a fiend and mills fiendsmith cards
Lacrima of Light, not Fiendsmith Lacrima
I might be out of date with this, but what lacrima mill is a spellcaster monster?
Never mind, didn’t see the other comments. Hadn’t refreshed my page since this comment was put down.
Link Pendulum monster when ?
Arrows everywhere!
Ugh another mill support that doesn’t support main archetype of Endymion Wish it equipped from extra deck There are many cards that equip from extra why not Endymion cant do it considering Endymion spends spell counter for everything Well I’ll wait for another millennia for spell counter support maybe New arcanite magician:/
Oh nothing about Spell Counters.
Makes sense I guess since they aren’t a thing until much later in the lore.
still works in an endymion deck. Its like a cheaper/slower “Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians” that adds the cards back into your hand instead of special summoning them
Is there another archetype out there that has effects if their monster is equipped?
Doesn’t work in Endy. Keep in mind all our monsters go to ED and not GY so… not sure why this doesn’t interact with the ED at all. At least it equip from the face up ED…
As best I can see, there are only two intended uses. One is to equip and return the new Crowley to hand for a quick fusion on the opponent’s main phase. The other is to equip and return Spoon to hand for it’s battle phase discard effect. While okay, not at all good enough. If the second effect even just added “and one card your opponent controls” it would have been much better.
1) it is not limited to Magistus monsters for what is being equipped, only to what it can equip on to
2) it is a Magistus itself, so you don’t need other Magistus monsters in order to use it
If this is splashed into other decks, you can also use it to recover spellcaster hand traps like Effect Veiler. Also, the fact you can also equip spellcasters that have been banished means you can recover spellcasters banished by Magicalized Fusion.
Its actually a lot better than you’re giving it credit for.
Given the summoning condition, I’m doubtful of how many non-Magistus decks would play this as nothing more than a worse Accesscode climb.
Reminder that it’s ATK is 1850 and most Charmer/Possessed decks are already running Magistus. I’m happy.
I do not see the point. Though…to be fair, I am high.
I’m glad this isn’t as good as the rest of the support wave because it would really suck to have to see this yaoi proportioned-ass Endymion on a regular basis.
Tbf i prefer this one rather than spoon. His design is more goofy and lame. 1 card starter that I hate to see every game against magistus
“yaoi proportioned-ass Endymion ”
The dude literally has a extremly cute girl as his wife, take your projections out of here lol
You need to learn what projecting means. I don’t care about this fictional character’s sexuality or relationship status. I am saying he looks silly like big suit David Byrne from Remain in Light in this particular image.
You are actually projecting here; you see someone calling a horse a horse, and you cannot restrain yourself from interjecting all the little factoids you know about the little comic you read.
Dude’s head is so small.. guess the artist doesn’t care about proportion as long as the waifus is fine
Don’t ignore his extremely pointy features (nose, ear, and jaw) xD
another magistus ed monster without an effect when it’s an equip card, sigh
At least Relinquished and Restrict reward you with actual effects that benefit you.
If the second effect was reworded to work on any monster card treated as a spell, then it could have worked in pendulum endymion in addition to its intended use case.
suggestive position detected 🤮
They are standing next to each other you mental freak.
FINALLY CHARMER/POSSESSED SUPPORT!
