… Can we just get these new HEROs in the TCG and OCG Please? Neos Contact Fusions that don’t piss off at the end of the turn? Just have my money.
Or give us A Cyber Dragon Hero fusion already.
Why would we get a Cyber Dragon Hero?
Hero players shouldn’t be allowed to complain about getting new support especially when they get new cards once or twice a year and especially when supreme darkness in October might be a evil hero pack based off the name
Hero players mostly get anime-tier support or support that pulls the deck in too many different directions. They do have a right to complain if what they want it playable cards, especially considering how the deck looks more like Aster Phoenix.dek these days instead of Jaden Yuki.dek.
So I’m guessing still no Air Neos 🐦?
Next set or the one after
It a joke . Since these are more or less redesigns of the og neos fusions and Konami wants to pretend Air Neos from STON doesn’t exist anymore. Not even being featured in Master Duel or on the cover of Instant Contact along with the other fusions.
Would be Gust Neos or something, each are retrains.
Justin Jones, they want to forget Air Neos exists and then they go and make Aromas and Handigallop?
It is unlikely the effect is why AN has been abandoned.
There are 2 theories
Konami is concerned that the company Neos Airline would sue them since Air Neo’s name is similar to the brand and is a red bird like the icon for the brand.
Air Neos design is plagiarized from another concept or is actually owned by the artist and Konami wants to avoid a lawsuit if they use it again in any way.
The question with either theory is “Why not make a new Air Neos (at least before we got these new RD exclusive fusions) or redesign the old monster for newer card art?” and “How is Air Hummingbird unaffected by the anti Air Neos mandate?”.
Gorosei from one piece won’t approve
There also some Masked Heros from the manga still not printed. Maybe it we ever get a Structure Deck Revival of the Hero deck we will finally get them.
This is for Rush Duel.
I’m talking about the TCG. Masked Heros are too powerful for Rush Duels.
Especially Dark Law, you know why he was limit 1 at MD, right?
Okay but imagine the insanity of them printing the main deck Masked HERO monsters in Rush Duels because they were all vanillas.
Thats silly enough that I expect it to happen
Ok, I wasn’t expecting news for HERO today. I thought they would save it for OCG Times (what will they reveal in OCG Times?)
And well, despite having simple, but effective Effects, the new Neos Contact Fusions do not have the disadvantage that the OG Neos Contact Fusions had. Likewise, the Slots for the new Neos Fusion allow for more Fusion Monsters in this package.
What is known that still needs to be revealed about the package:
– Red-Eyes’s support.
– Excutie’s support.
– Zombie’s support.
– Music Princess’s support.
Rumored: Shaman Bandit and Praime’s support.
This just solved the problem I had with the set seemingly not having enough space to include every possible Fusion in here. With these HERO Fusions at the start and end of the set order, we have room for the remaining 3 non-anime Fusions to spare for potential anime Spells too.
I do wonder if these Neos Fusions can be summoned the normal way or not. Card text doesn’t specify they must be Contact Fused at first.
“Ok, I wasn’t expecting news for HERO today. I thought they would save it for OCG Times (what will they reveal in OCG Times?)”
I, too, am surprised they revealed the HEROes here and not during the RUSH DUEL stream video. Me and a few others were so sure they’d be a shoe-in reveal.
Magician girls and Gravekeepers are fun, but the former archetype lack supports, compared to the latter.
Why not updating both? I don’t care if it is a hand trap or whatever, just make them cool again lol
If the “go back to the Extra Deck at End Phase” eff is reference to the Ultraman’s 3 minutes fight on Earth, these Neos are reference to Ultraman fight in Space and anywhere else other than Earth, in which they can last more than 3 minutes.
Or, more appropriately, Rush doesn’t have monster effects that activate outside the Main Phase so they just omitted it to avoid adding a new layer of complexity to an increasingly complex format. Still great card design regardless.
Or the fact Heisei/Reiwa Ultraman are much more lenient about how long they last.
Ultraman Arc has words for you, lol.
Nice to see Shining Flare Wingman slightly buffed by looking for Warriors in general in the Graveyard as opposed to strictly E. Hero monsters.
If Konami had the card text to list our every Elemental HERO in the game like they did with Skyscraper they absolutely would have.
“If Konami had the card text to list our every Elemental HERO in the game like they did with Skyscraper they absolutely would have.”
That’s true; they seem quite vehement about not making Archetypes a thing in Rush, to the point they’d use up the text box if they could and could get away with it.
No card in Rush Duel mentions a name of an archetype. That’s probably why they changed it to Warriors
@Ben What’s stopping them from doing so though? That wouldn’t make the game more complex. That would help with organization, scaling, and design balance.
This Rush Duel artwork for Shining Flare Wingman really does help me appreciate the design far more than I historically have when it comes to this Monster. So kudos to the Rush Duel glowup for that!
Also, while there are marked differences compared to their Master Duel counterparts, I do still very much like the reimagined designs of Contact Fusion forms of Pulse Neos and Heat Neos.
Speaking of Rush Duel glowups, Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin has never not been cut, but his Rush Duel art makes his physique look even more buff and toned than usual.
Which I can approve of, most certainly.
Pulse Neos is definitively the better one of these two – not only it’s free target removal for most relevant monsters but Aqua Dolphin on it’s own is damn good for sniping monsters from your opponent’s hand – get Neos and Dolphin on the field, use Dolphin’s effect to snipe something with 2500 or less ATK from opponent’s hand and then fuse to get rid something from the field.
Is Neos deck or meh? It does not look good to me… Hero lover here. Weird they yet to print the ones that still stuck in the manga…
*good or meh? typo omg
Shining Flarewingman needs 7 cards, pretty costly imo. Haven’t see him in play, probadly because he needs Flamewingman and Sparksman to get him out, which took 7 cards. Including 2 polymerizations…
I hope this year’s Premium Pack gives us Greiger’s Extra Fusion which lets you use Fusion monsters in the Extra Deck as material for a fusion summon. Or as the manga phrases it “Fuse Fusion Monsters before they are fused.” Especially since Ultimate Flame Swordsman will be imported to the OCG by then.
Agreed
Shining Flare Wingman is not as cost intensive as it seems. Aside from Rush’s draw mechanics there are plenty of support cards that let you easily add or recover the needed cards to your hand or field.
Hero Boy, Star Restart, Parallelverse Gate, and Argent, to name a few.
You also have Wroughtwyvern which can mill your Deck to set up Miracle Fusion, and Circulation/Graceful Charity to draw through instead.
Reminder that Stardust Dragon is a petty derailer trying to troll in Rush Duel comment sections. Please ignore him.
Remember, Dude Dudesky is a troll, please ignore him
Still… It is a steep cost, as you need 7 cards to get him out. SEVEN CARDS! You need to get flame wingman out first, that cost:
Burstinatrix + Avian + the fusion card + poly = 4 cards + Sparksman + 2nd poly = 7 cards.
I do the simple math. And it is not hard to see why Shining Flare wingman rarely see play, if ever. Even in Duel Links. I am not a “derailer” or whatever @Dude Dudesky is saying. Just stop trolling my comments, it’s not a good to try and annoy people on here.
Not saying instant fusion him is a bad idea. It is not. It just there are other hero fusions, who takes less resources than him, and better, like Sunrise or Vision Hero Adoration, who only needs 3 cards.
The former needs any 2 heroes, as long they are in different attributes and a poly. The latter accepts any 2 heroes and a poly. The new Rising heroes are great fusion food for both Sunrise and Adoration, just because I knew heroes too much, eh @Dude Dudesky (Ignore this new name, change it, because I’m done being trolled on here, plus I love RDA over Stardust). I hate people troll me because I knew heroes “too much” or whatever.
I play DL and MD, on hiatus rn. But, who am I gonna lecture here?
Miracle Fusion exists. So does Splame. I made a neos centric Rush deck already using Splame as the “Prisma” of the deck using various Pyros like the Djinn trio to support the field presence and even using Executie Up! To summon Neos after you have Scarab or Dolphin out. It’s not hard.
Love the buffs all around. The Neoses are great and even lack the ‘can only be Fusion Summoned’ clause!
The original Neos Contacts didn’t have this clause either, only that they must first be Special Summoned via Contact Fusion. This is also deliberate as you cannot use Miracle Fusion to bring out these monsters, same as in the original format.
Do Neo Heroes require a dedicated build or are we supposed to mix them with E-Heroes?
In theory, you can combine Neos with Rush’s Elemental HERO in the same Deck without problems. The thing is to see which Normal Monsters you prefer to take and what approach you will use: both Fusion and Normal Monsters have exclusive cards in Rush Duels that allow them to stand out and create a different Deck.
Carrying Neos means that you will have bricks with those Level 7 Normal Monsters, but it also means that you have access to all the Level 7 support that Rush Duels has.
I really hope they give us the Sparkman/Burstinatrix and the Sparkman/Avian and the Avian/Clayman fusions finally.
Do Rising Heroes have a theme?
For Elemental is comic heroes
Masked are kamen riders
Destiny are anti-herors iirc
and Evil are well, evil, villains
Huh?
Anyways… I wonder, if stratos still relevant in the newest builds, since the recent builds, only run him at 1. While I usually thought 3 [stratos] is a must… Strange…
How will they sell these cards? In a structure deck like the other Rush hero cards, or in packs?
