Did “banishment” go out of vogue already?
Yeah, Rekindling and Shaman are perfect for Banishment. Banishment or GY.
One of the leaked cards states banishment.
If I were to guess – so I’m spitballing in the dark here, it might have something to do with the timeline of card production. These could have easily been written well before “banishment” was used in official TCG card text, and simply just not updated. Potentially, the official proxy image we see is out dated, while the physical card(s) say “banishment”.
It’s worth noting that only two cards officially have “banishment” as a term in their card text that isn’t just mentioning the name of the card, and other cards in the same set do NOT use the “Banishment” term.
They’re also using “Spells and Traps” in Veidos instead of the usual “Spells/Traps” for some reason.
There’s one leaked card that does use it so it’s not abandoned. But I agree the inconsistency is weird.
Pretty solid wave, all things considered.
Trash
I got it, a pun right? trASH?!
Love it, might be a solid rogue control deck, perfect for me
We’re definitely getting that last fusion from manga Greiger at the end of this year.
Just makes me wish Volcanics had been given a fusion to work with.
Hand it over, that thing, your Ashened’s wave of support
Konami once again fumbled on the second wave of a world premiere theme.
Here’s to the OCG fixing this crap in the core booster after they get this later this year.
It’s actually not terrible, I’ve been testing them on dueling book, and they are very consistent now, they have transferred to a control and grind game, and they are decent. The fusions also counter snake eyes, cause the spell lets you fusion on the opponents turn, and the trap can be popped off Veidos fusion, to change everything Pyro on your opponent turn. It works like Rollback.
Seriously, why there are people who are constantly thinking about damn inclusion. Seriously, not everything in the world has to be woke, we don’t have to insert blacks everywhere because that is political correct nowadays… all you achieve is dividing society… and besides, when products with inclusion come out, the political intention is so noticeable that it causes rejection… you only manage to create an atmosphere of mistrust, so that when a high-quality product that includes a ‘vulnerable group’ comes out, it can be ignored because of the environment of distrust that people like you have generated.
Can’t wait for that Cotton Field as a field spell
These cards are awesome, eternal destruction, recovery, summoning, just to get destroyed and recovered again, to get destroyed again, and again, and again. The effects perfectly adhere to the lore. Now they only need a way to recycle banished spell/trap cards and the cycle is complete. I can’t wait for the last wave. The art is sick aswell, especially of “Veidos the Dragon of Endless Darkness”, I hope this isn’t it’s ultimate form, and that we get more Fusion monsters in the last wave.
Yes. the support isn’t terrible. It actually makes Ashened more consistent with more threatening board presence.
That searcher seems really good and might be what the deck needs to be more playable.
Negate seems okay and recycling card back to deck as a cost is nice.
The 2 main deck monsters seem very mediocre. I guess it’s okay for more names to avoid hard opt summon, but I don’t think the deck has that much search power for these toolbox monsters.
Endlessness seems very interesting, but Obsidim only changes monsters to pyro on your turn, so unless you set it beforehand with Veidos’ effect, you have to wait 2 turns or have another copy of Endlessness in gy to use opponent’s monsters.
Wow, those are the only responses y’all two could come up with? 💤💤💤💤 Same old stuff you pork-colored idiots been saying for years. Come up with some new material for once. Since you racists are usually dumber than a bag of rocks, take your time. You should be able to make a different joke within 5 years if you tried hard enough. Come on, you can do it!
Idiots.
As for the OP, bro, Yugioh has a TON of stuff based on Africa already. Lol have you not been paying attention or did you happen to miss the original series?
Pork-colored idiots? Who is the racist now? They should ban your I.p. for saying this anti-white bigotry.
Hey hey my ninja, don’t be mad okey, they’ll probably make it search up your Snatch Steal on activation one of the BEST removal in the game
Im guessing OP didnt watch duel monsters and skipped all the way to arc v
bro never read an Amazoness card
Name something in this game that is African and not from Egypt. Also Amazons are Greek.
My dude you’re not only black you’re also retarded, you’re literally answering your own question. What other inspiration do you expect from Africa besides Ancient Egypt? What are you even asking for, Amazoness alternative art or what
@Matt, you CRAZY
Dear ChaosMax, I have to say the same I said to those people who were complaining every day about the lack of Ancient Gear and Dark Magician (lmao) support: Konami staff isn’t reading you, but even if they are, the company has a schedule and they’re not changing it for your posts. Subsaharian culture is just not popular in Japan and North America, and they know there’s almost no playerbase in that continent, so there’s no point. Hope this helps in making you realize about reality.
“28 comments” but only 16 actually appear. What happened?
There was a thread of comments in which someone said some pretty racist things. It looks like it’s been removed or hidden now.
Thank God, that guy must be a weirdo.
Why people gotta be like that?
Meth was the one who said such things actually.
ChaosMax was the one that started the thread… At this point, I would like to think that he is just trolling…
Btw: I don’t know how to feel about the added fusion mechanic… I guess i need to test it
Yep, that was me.
I’m glad it got deleted or burried
No no that’s the funny part bro he wasn’t trolling
And Max, I know all the people in Konami, right? I know Tic Tac, Ding Dong, Liu Kang, and I’ll tell you this, bro I’ll tell you this
Mohamed Ali will be featured in the next Battlin’ Boxer lineup. So, I got you covered with that inclusion, bro. 🤣🤣🤣
This Archetype feels…confused. There are just these little things that hold it back. Shaman recycles cards in order to search the field spell…A. What is even in your gy at that point B. she special summons herself with the field spell….why can’t she do something else? I don’t think Rekindling needed an opt for its effect. And why in the Name of of Gwyn does the superpoly trap…also turn your opponent’s monsters into pyros? I feel like you want to use both effects in the same turn, but putting it on the same trap on two different effects makes that awkward. It’s not bad, but there were some misteps (also, pyros need waaaaay more ED monsters, because these two are legitimately top-tier pyro ED monsters by virtue of so few pyro ED monsters existing…work on that, Konami)
At least its more than Reptiles. They have Worm Zero… and Extox Hydra. 25 years of this game and 2 reptile fusion spaced 13 years apart.
These are…decent. Certainly not the worst second wave (👀@ you Beetrooper)
I’m confused on the dragon fusion. I might be going crazy, but it looks like it says 2 or more lvl <= 9 pyros for the material. That's fine, but I'm not seeing a reason why you would want to use more than 2. Am I crazy or reading this wrong or something?
Read the new Trap.
Also think about the field spell… it turns your opponent monsters into pyro…. So you could potentially use all your oponent’s monsters as material for the fusion summon.
It’s to remove and go in for the sweep, also, it will gain 500 atk for every material with Ashened to Endlessness 6 opponent’s monsters and 6 of your monsters will make it’s ATK/9000 making it’s attack lethal in one swipe.
I though that the direction this deck would take would be more like a boss battle… Like you summon your boss monster in your opponent’s field, and you summon your “ashened soldier” to fight it… but they turned it into a fusion mechanic deck in the second wave… IDK how to feel about it…
PD: Veidos is 20€ :-S
