While I’m glad you’ve come around to liking it, I’ll admit that I’m not sure how you managed to think this card was useless in the first place when it’s a searcher that, if you don’t happen to need it to search anything at the time, is another easy mat for a Giant or Throne since it’s summonable to your field after you’ve tossed whatever onto the enemy’s (or, in the case of your Yummy mention, if you’ve forced anything face-down, like with Synchro!Cooky); definitely not unwelcome, that.
I’m rather looking forward to this coming out, myself, in light of all this AND it being (yet) another way to search backrow atop what Dragon and Giant already afforded us.

Ok, this one simply is a solid card
Simple to get on the board, and ausefull searching effect, nothing more and nothing less
I dont think this is a card the deck speciffically needed, but having more options and especially more searchers cant ever hurt, also the generic flip support might allow for some flip pile or combo deck to exist
Im still waiting for the mass erata of all the older cards that have effects which activate on a flip but arent flip effects, to actually become flip monsters…
Then almost every Spirit monster would have to be a Flip monster as well for consistency, and I don’t think Konami wants that. That’s just stuff that may seem logic to many players but for better and worse never happening, along with the wish that Geminis are treated as Normals in the hand or Unions that equip from hand.
This is incredibly, I love it. Im desperately asking konami to PLEASE make a mimighoul ninja card that serves as a bridge between the two archetypes. They could have incredibly synergy
So this card can bridge into enneacraft so sol and Luna is live and the Mimi ghoul search spell is useful In enneacraft. New ftk unlocked. If I search this monster and cyber jar or morphing jar and have sol and Luna or a book of taiyou in hand very interesting

People just sincerely do not understand the benefits of this card in these comments: It is now a finally true Maker starter that doesn’t use your normal as long as you open Maker and 1 Ghoul name.
Maker, show Archfiend/Flower; if Flower is chosen, flip with Archfiend special, add and get an XYZ. If Archfiend is chosen, set it and have a free special summon (preferably of dragon or another Archfiend), then special Flower and you can continue Mimighoul combo without a forced normal. This is kind of possible with armor and slime, but this makes armor completely unplayable and you’re not forced to either get a useless Dragon effect to get an XYZ or to gamble on Archfiend Slime and have a chance to do almost nothing with it.
I’m not sure if this card is really meant to bridge Ena and Mimi; the playstyles of both decks overlap a bit. I think the idea is to add small engines like Princess Prediction or use certain techs
This means we’re probably getting the other support for TCG exclusives like Misturugi and Odion in this set.
Any flip monster? Well, now that’s interesting.
