Not so stealth Cyber Dragon support
ROTA-JP035 黎銘機ヘオスヴァローグ / Eosvarog, Forger of the Dawn
Level 7 LIGHT Machine Fusion Effect Monster
ATK 0 DEF 2800
2 LIGHT Machine monsters
You can only use the 1st and 2nd effect of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can activate this effect; during the Standby Phase of the next turn, add 1 card from your GY to your hand with an effect that Fusion Summons.
(2) When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or effect (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 face-up LIGHT Machine monster you control OR 2 LIGHT Machine monsters from your GY; negate the activation.

Very funny interaction in the CyDra mirror where you can super poly a chunk of their board away for a negate (it can banish itself for the cost), and also recur the super poly to do it again on your next turn in case they get any funny ideas.
the other 2 cards?
Cyber Dragon players might only run this at 2 at most, and mostly during mirror matches, and because the deck has plenty other options for super poly targets. Their older fusions still not yet replaced by this one outside mirror match ups to be fair.
Certainly buffs Zain’s main CyDra, a bit, but not his Cyber darks, as they are dark types, and this one needs light type machine types monsters, as long they are 2 of them. And Cyber darks dies too easilly too. Fun to play, but dies easilly, if you hit their BR’s, same with Aromas.
Based card. Shame they made the second effect a HARD once per turn. Should’ve been the Fusion counterpart to Infinity, so you could make multiple and make your opponent cry.
Both of this card’s effects are once per turn. Not just one of them.
With the right decklist, I think you can consistently turn 1 make this, cyber dragon infinity and masquerana + s:p or if you don’t want to spend a lot you can use the good old nightmare unicorn. And maybe with some hands you can even make Therion “King” Regulus
I honestly don’t get why this isn’t just a “Cyber” monster. I know it hardly matters due to a lack of support that cares specifically for that, but why make the card a literal gold Cyber Twin (it even has Twin’s ATK as its DEF) that supports LIGHT Machine Fusion decks and then give it some pretentious unique name instead? You can even leave the effect word-for-word as-is. Just seems like a silly decision to me.
It matters cuz now cyberload fusion cant make it since cyberload specifically says that you fusion summon into a monster that lists a cyber dragon monster as a material.
So this isnt a legal target unfortuntly. They really should have just made this a cyber dragon monster
Because the other 2 cards in here designed for the Tactical Try Deck are not Eldlich or Live Twin monsters, so why would this have an archetype distinction?
Plus this card can also be used in the Union strategy.
Name funfact: Svarog is Slavic god of fire, blacksmithing and creator of the Sun.
Complementary Name Funfact: Eos is a Greek goddess of Dawn.
Awesome. Don’t know why it’s not just called Cyber Twin Dragon Forger of the Dawn. But hey, not like it matters much.
Not really worth summoning in cydra. They don’t hard fuse with a spell card u less it is through overload, cyberload locks you in to attacking with the fusion monster. Most of the fusions are summoned through contact fusion with megafleet and fortress and you cheese our cyber end, eternity and rampage through duality using the above contact fusions or a cyber dragon. Being a level 7 doesn’t help unless a level 8 and even then you can use the on fusion summon. The pop is good but not somthing you can set up on your turn to really use the banish effect to use cyberload fusion.
A going first option in cydra that give you your fusion spell back on your next turn so you can otk.
However this is also going to be a funny super poly target if the new xyz/abc deck becomes popular
This is actually makes for a decent first turn option for cydra with the cyber dark engine (Cyberdark Chimera and cyberdark realm) for a reuse of power bond for the next turn, all you need is core and one other light machine, herz if possible, hell you can even discard clockwork night and get regulus for 2 negates. More cards like that make going first for cyber dragon less of a headache, and its a great card to bring out if your opponent outs Cyber Nova.
Now it is more likely that the next booster core is Cydra Supports. Hopefully Cyberdark Supports. Though, they may not be true anyway.
I can see that the best place for this is Cydra because of the Fusion effect but I can’t help but wanting to put that in my ABC deck because of the Fusion Material
I don’t get why we get a lot of cards with cool effects, cool artworks but abysmal ATK. There is absolutely no reason to play this in modern day Yu-gi-oh! Where DEF doesn’t matter, at all except when you are a mechanical samurai… it’s so strange and nonsensical to me.
It Is relatively easy to summon and has a great negate effect. If you gave it an excessive amount of ATK, it might be too good.
Monsters shouldn’t have the effects of counter traps to begin with but if you must they should have poor stats. The better the effect the worse the stats should be in general. If you invalidate your own core game mechanics its time to go back to the drawing board and design a better game.
Another example: Zoodiac Ratpier the strongest 0 atk/def monster, effectwise, it was too strong, that it was banned for a while, but return, albeit still in limited list.
Why did Konami release 3 one-off support cards for the 3 tactical tryout decks but not actually give them archetype synergy?
These cards are meant to also tie into other themes introduced around this time.
Level 5 or higher Zombie also means Bakura, and LIGHT Machine that banishes from GY tells me A-to-Z.
The best card of the four in here and probably designed around Cyber Dragon or A-to-Z mirror matches.
Looks that way
