Centur-ion support possibly?
i experimented and:
Spellbook works well, but centurion got more broken.
But Branded gets more advantage, exclude the inability to syncro
“The origin story of the Original Sin”
Nah…. Corrected: “The origin story of the YGO Bayonetta (and the other one that few remember)”
Beyonetta fan seeing a witch for the first time: Im getting major Beyonetta vibes from this
No, there’s significant Bayonetta Origins elements in these cards.
Makes more sense than Wizard of Oz.
bayonetta totally makes sense, it even describes why half the sins cards are attack names.
Diabellstar turns her clothes into a giant wolf summon, her weaponry, etc., I’m pretty sure anything Bayonetta-related is intentional (though tbh the Illusion white witch rival card looking extraordinarily Bayonetta is what originally convinced me)
I can’t wait to get the Snake-Eyes Complete Files in 3 years.
Before that, we’ll have two more Tier 0 Decks before we finish Snake-Eyes Lore.
Are we getting some sort of Bayonetta Origins with these new cards?
However, unlike Bayonetta Origins, Konami is promoting Diabellstar Lore heavily, not like Nintendo did with Bayonetta Origins (which left it buried and did almost no promotion).
Summoner Monk and Toy Box about to go hard. Lucelia’s cards are definitely some of the best for this wave. Search ANY LIGHTCaster. Hello Ecclesia.
wouldn’t White Forest fits better because Witch of the Black Forest is called ้ปใๆฃฎใฎใฆใฃใใ?
witches of the white forest are really cool. hope konami using those names in tcg
We chose to go with the alliterative approach, as the TCG often does that. It’s entirely possible they could choose White Forest though.
Bad Apple vibes intensify
*starts humming Bad Apple by ZUN*
blud seeing girls eating apple and then claiming it’s bad apple vibes.
no, there are not any bad apple vibes here at all.
Morrighan is still unaccounted for but as that card is tied to Diabelleze, she may be part of an unrelated archetype in the future.
Actually, looking at it, Morrighan (or Morrian to use its now english-revealed name) might be Diabell herself. If you look at Diabell’s picture, the giant hand is in the foreground with a stylized Eye of Illusion symbol on the palm, and the fingers acting more like writhing vines.
I think something happened, and Diabell got split in half, with the two halves being merged/absorbed/possessed into Asteria (turning her into Diabellstar) and Risette (turning her into Diabellze)
Perhaps Diabellstar is searching for a way to purge/destroy Diabell and her influence, and Rcia being turned into Rciela and Silve being turned into Silvera by Diabell, might explain why they are with Diabellstar as Sinful Spoils. Meanwhile Diabellze either got Diabell’s mind, or was corrupted mentally by Diabell’s dark power as to why she’s taunting/tormenting Diabellstar
this is all conjecture and me taking a guess as to what part of the storyline hasn’t been revealed yet
could these work with spellbook?
yeah but spellbooks are too old, Runick is a better engine
am i tweecking or does Silvera, Witchwolf of the White Woods not have a once per turn clause
It does not. So you can trigger it twice in one turn with the Level 8 synchro and with the trap.
Rcia of the White Woods def 1500*
Thank you. DEF error fixed.
offcourse you guys will choose that card to be the thumbnail
It only took Konami like 20 years to make a complete Spellcaster combo that doesn’t need multiple engines to facilitate a singular combo and doesn’t rely on a Dragon or Fairy Boss monster? Will wonders never cease?
Im so tired of all-female waifu decks, there are so boring, the only reason to have them be all women is to appeal to horny male players. Its much more natural to have a balanced ratio of men to women for most archetypes
Yeah i would love and old fashion deck like something more dark likes the marik torture deck or the new FLAME swordman deck .
Yeah, as long you ignore every other archetype, you got a point! Ashen, Tenpai, Fiendsmith, and Millennium totally didnโt just get released/supported.
Or you can just play Goblin Riders since you can closely identify with them. ๐
come on man, they literally called witch. its really not that bad.
Just stop playing. Nobody’s forcing you to be here.
Also the “ugh anime girls are only for horny males” meme is dumb. There’s a lot of female fans of Japanese stuff that like this kind of aesthetics.l, but to be honest I doubt that you can know anything about it, no woman ever talked to you after all.
Anyway, I like aesthetics of this deck. Makes me think about some old Fairytales, Grimm Brothers kind of vibe.
you are very correct we need less waifu its a cheap way to sell a deck
My main, last 6 archtypes were non-waifu decks ๐
ur right there are too many waifu decks, but there are also many female duelists, but a balanced deck would be nice. Something like voiceless voice but has both a broken male And a broken female boss monster.
Also as of writing, u think this stuff is bad, the traptrix art area is 100X worse.
Okay, so this it little Diabellstar and Diabellze, but beyond that I do not know what is happening here.
I think Diabellze did something to Diabellstar which caused Lucia and Sylvia to be turned into weapons. And then kicked her out of the forest after gaining a new power. (the power of the illusion) Afterward, Diabellstar roams the world in search for the power required to beat Diabellze.
Or, Diabellstar attacked the rest of her group, turning them into weapons, aside from Diabellze. Diabellze, who was Diabellstar’s friend, is now trying to hunt her down.
We don’t know either character’s motives, though. ๐
Some of these cards can work really wwll with witchcrafters
WITCHCRAFTER SUPPORT LESGOOOO
just finished ur experiment, it is INSANE.
Combine with centurion , White Wood Witchcrafter Centur-ion is defo next tier 0
Where is my visas lore konami??
He get adios-ed
UOOOOOOHHH!
Cards that I immediately think of (besides the Albaz cards):
– Clear Effector (draw 1 when used as Synchro Material and Synchro can’t be destroyed by card effects – no hard/soft per turn)
– Magicat and Magidog (generic card recovery – Secret Village tech?)
– Mythical Beasts (all light spellcasters)
– Trick Clown might find its way because he is a free body.
There are more implications also with Endymion but these are the first ones I really thought “damn, these might be scary/abused”
CLEARLY this means we’re getting shota Visas as the next archetype. Trust me my uncle’s brother’s son works at Konami
I mean, Scareclaw Light-Heart….
“Uncle’s brother’s son”, eh? So….you mean you?
Gothic Loli’s commanding wolves and evil magic while living inside a Ancient gnarly white forest eating forbiddin apples, AMAZING!
I don’t think they’re loli’s, I’m pretty sure they are just children…
Nice Tech for Dark Magician, i love this archetype!
Whispers can re-summon Dark Magician of Chaos to get another Spell recovery, since it banishes itself instead of bouncing. Also, the Spells/Traps are easy fuel for Dark Paladin’s negates. Old examples, I know, but still…
Another loli/waifu archetype ? Meh…
Konami we need more African mythosโฆ
Name one easily recognizable African mythology that can be turned into aesthetically and mechanically pleasing theme.
I mean, except Egyptian mythology because we got like 20 of decks around this.
Also make sure to not offend the easily offended so epic black warriors with spears and black tribal motives are also out.
even one off cards are fine, Ananasi needs some love here too.
“Name one easily recognizable African mythology that can be turned into aesthetically and mechanically pleasing theme.”
Believe it or not, Betelgeuse has some African mythology roots.
The Catoplepas comes from Ethiopian mythology.
Ogun is a god of the Yoruba people in Nigeria.
Sure, there’s not much, but there ARE things there if you dig deep enough.
@Mixnmatch
Maybe there aren’t many recognizable African mythologies because companies like Konami don’t represent them. But there’s loads of awesome ones.
It’s quite hard since even the Megaten series, which is basically a mythology monster collecting game has only 3 African mythology entities that’s appeared multiple times. Catoblepas, Guedhe, and Ogun
“We can’t have any African archetypes, because they aren’t recognizable” is a terrible reason. There are plenty of archetypes based on things you wouldn’t know unless someone told you.
ok, hear me out. i dont really know much but asking for it, does not really help either. just let them do their own design. like, when they do danger archtype, tbh danger come off as bland for me.
dont get me wrong, i get what you saying, it really cool to see indonesian (correct me if i am wrong) culture affecting how they make fire king. but asking them to representing something they probably know nothing about is a bit too much.
hm still room for an Archetype Support with 6 Cards: 3 Main Monster(10-12) 1 Fusion(34) 1 Synchro(37) and 1 spell(57)
another Erathbound Servant Wave sounds wierd but would fit on the spots, considering only 3 main deck Monsters actually
Why put “of the,” when TCG is likely gonna be White Woods – Asteria, for example
konami releasing the most “banlist worthy” card of the year challenge (impossible, they keep making stronger and stronger cards) ๐ฟ
Uuuoooohhhh! They made Diabellstar and Diabellze cute and funny! ๐ญ
Nice artwork.
Witchwolf of the White Woods is really good Tenpai support ๐
