Yuka and Mimi being the only sevens character who dont have new cards because appears in DL:
At least Konami seems to acknowledge Mimi’s existence, as a handful of her cards were recently reprinted (to support Grace Princess)
With Yuka, her Deck has been abandoned for over two years, and Konami still hasn’t acknowledged its existence (despite having the ZEXAL spirit in it)
In both cases, Bubble Era and Baseball need a complete overhaul (between 10 and 11 new cards)
have any of the goha siblings except light gotten new stuff?
@Draco. Of the Goha Siblings, it can be said that the only one who received indirect support was Yuro (with Rush’s Harpie). Yujin received support at the beginning of the GO RUSH Era, but they stopped giving him more cards (now he’s easily overshadowed by Phaser and Tremolo in Sea Serpent Decks)
Yuka, Yuran, and Yuga Goha are the only ones who haven’t received anything new since their last wave of support other than generic cards (in fact, it’s believed that Yuo only received support for his Deck as a promotion with Duel Links)
If RDJ as Dr Doom doesn’t toots in Avengers Doomsday, i’m not watching
FINALLY, CONTACTON REPLACEMENT
That feels good.
Also, Music Princess Reborn is nice
New contacts, Claymore is nice to recycle and B O N K, Lass is decent to protect your board
I’m glad Music Princess got this: it was a Deck that needed more than one new card to solve some of its problems (it still has some, but at least it’s good to have new cards)
Either way, this confirms that Handy Lady Deck was left with just one Fusion Monster (not receiving another as some thought). At least it has one more Monster to reveal for the Deck.
Baton received a new retrain which can be treated as the original in hand or GY for Dance. She can also treat her name as the original on the field, fill your GY, and recover Fusion. However you still want to also play the original since Music Princess has vanilla support and Star Restart. The attack lock is the same as Cornetlass’s.
Despite having the same stats as Tune Flutomahawk, Tune Cornetlass is not a Contact since the original can add an excavated vanilla or Fusion to your hand. Her effects are weaker to compensate for being a bit easier to summon.
Tune Ophiclaymore has the same stats as Axetion Melody, who also supports Straight Pierce. This connection is because Ophiclaymore and Tubardiche have a senior junior relationship. Being able to flip face down any Attack Position monster without cost makes up for its materials and low stats. Despite being Level 6, which is an awkward Level since this theme predominantly recovers Level 7 or higher and doesn’t work with Star Restart, Ophiclaymore can still be summoned with Substitute, Breath and Prelude and recovered with Tubardiche and Horn Knives. Being a Contact makes up for Ophiclaymore being a bit harder to use than Tubardiche.
Substitute fills your GY for Dance and Straight Pierce, and can revive any WIND Warrior from GY, ideally materials in the early game, or Tune Flutomahawk in the late game. The WIND lock on the revival discourages using fusion substitutes like Prisma. The attack lock is consistent with Cornetlass and the new Baton.
Well…. Tune Cornetlass is a Contact Fusion Monster: you can see the card’s Artwork that has the line that says you can Contact Fusion Summon (like Tune Ophiclaymore)
YGOrganization simply missed that detail.
I did somehow. I saw it there, thought I wrote it, must of gotten sidetracked.
Dr. Doom? More like Dr. Doot, amirite?
