Is cool, but, ruler deserves more, the deck dont exist, is just a bunch of cards who no have syntonize, i hope a lot of cards who make the deck, a deck
The Gakuto section of this pack is likely intended to make Ruler an actual strategy.
This card alone sets up Ruler’s Slash, Ruler’s Dance, Mezame, and Icezark, and if you send Kimeluna to the GY, it opens even more strategies since the Deck loves to use 0 ATK monsters in the hand or GY as a resource. Outside of the theme Avian Spell Strategy and Yamata no Tsurugi are also supported.
Three Rulers wants their boss monsters in the GY so they can be summoned, recovered, or shuffled back into the Deck later. This card alone gives the Deck so much draw power. You’re turning dead cards in your hand to good ones later.
Look at how Dragonic Slayer – a once or twice used boss monster – went from completely niche to its own engine in this pack alone. Three Rulers conversely is the cornerstone of Gakuto’s strategy; summoning/recovering them, capitalizing off of their effects, protecting them from Trap destruction, and using them as Fusion material are what his disparate band of cards is trying to fulfill.
