(If this card is banished from the GY other than by its own effect, you can Special Summon this card, but it’s Level becomes 8. You can only use this effect of “Gimmick Puppet Baby Face/Princess” once per turn. You can banish this card from your GY: Target 1 Xyz monster in either GY, Special Summon It to it’s opponent’s field. This card cannot be used as material to Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck except “Gimmick Puppet” monsters.) Thoughts? Let’s see if Konami beats this one.
I actually forgot this monster existed.
Yeah, it was a pretty random monster in a random Duel for IV simply used to finish that Duel with a direct attack. Never had any known DEF or effect in the anime.
Let us have a moment of silence for Conical Hat duelist.
Hopefully we’ll get Photon Specter. The only photon monster from the anime not yet printed.

Our only cope now is getting the remaining anime cards in Rage of the Abyss, but we have not had an anime card in a core booster since Phantom Nightmare.
Most of those look like there going to be Arc V. So there probably going to release most of the Entermage monsters from the anime. Or maybe even Hunting Hounds fusions.

Speculative, IV would often declare his monster names without the gimmick puppet part. On the other hand he was hiding his true deck from the public so maybe he was using a different deck for that portion of the tournament.
It lets you field two monsters at virtually no cost, sets up Heaven’s Strings and Giant Grinder, recyclable. Strong support overall.

They did go with the blank canvas-s after all! Like I said with only 29 slots there’s only going to be 1 cross-promotion card per thing from now on. Still, all the trap monster support did not make me disregard gimmick box (with a this card is treated as a puppet clause) or repair puppet.
I was not expecting that recursion clause on a lv 4. There has to be some GP engine of sorts for tribute summon enjoyers.
