This has to f*cking stop. This is so unbelievably broken i honestly am baffled. Lab dogmatika will be good atleast, ig.

      • Kevin Tewart on July 23, 2025 8:54 am

“W-what?? A deck that has long fallen out of meta just received decent support that MIGHT propel it to a *gulp* tier 4 engine?? This HAS to stop right now!!”

      • Gekko on July 23, 2025 8:58 am

What exactly is so wrong with this card that has you worked up. It’s a powerful disruption tool, and hand trap package, but like, welcome to the game.

      • N on July 23, 2025 9:09 am

Fleurdelis is a great handtrap but it isn’t broken. Punishment comes with numerous restrictions.

      • Gekko on July 23, 2025 9:15 am

The two targets for this have pretty high costs yea both lock you from the ED, punishment thru a hard lock and dogmatikatism for white knight through WK locking you outta the ex while on the field. This isn’t some broken hand trap package everyone is gonna play and that’s perfectly fine, the recent sets have done a lot for that and I’m glad they’re experimenting more and more with this design space.

      • Blackbird on July 23, 2025 9:26 am

What are you even talking about? These cards are decent and not broken like at all

      • DuckSguised on July 23, 2025 11:01 am

It isn’t these 2 i have an issue with, but rather every deck getting T0 plays. Since some archetypes Will not get Turn 0 support, they’ll instantly drop from rogue to unplayable if they keep going in this direction.
Rogue decks Will simply die and that, in my point of view, is terrible.

      • Gekko on July 23, 2025 11:40 am

K9 has seen extremely widespread play as a turn zero interruption package, rogue decks aren’t exactly locked out of it, or any other of the recent non-engine that’s extremely powerful. What rogue decks are you worrying abt that will not be able to “catch up” because they cannot play turn zero in-engine

      • DuckSguised on July 23, 2025 12:45 pm

Not all decks benefit from K9 and not all decks can run it. Any monotype deck or a deck with a lock can’t play it, also, I don’t recall generic engines being healthy for the game.

      • FleurdelisSiscon on July 23, 2025 1:04 pm

“Broken” have you read Dogmatika Punishment’s restriction or Fleurdelis for that matter? Punishment locks you out of the ED and 2500 ATK is way too easy to play around or straight up cannot be achieved against decks like Yummy.

These cards are ok only really good because Dogmatika cards are ass relatively.

      • Anonymous on July 23, 2025 1:27 pm

You guys gotta forgive little bro. He just woke up from his 5-year long coma.

      • aing_hirup on July 23, 2025 1:47 pm

I like this kind of direction because deck building in the future will become focused more on the archetype itself rather than throwing some meta relevant handtrap and non engine card. If more archetype in the future get this treatment, there’s gonna be time that the concept of generic handtrap can be replaced entirely.

      • DuckSguised on July 23, 2025 3:10 pm

Yummy can get 3K attack monsters very easily with the field spell. It’s as broken as it seems.

      • TheOne on July 23, 2025 1:35 pm

        Beatrix?

      • NeoArkadia on July 23, 2025 2:59 pm

A character from Final Fantasy 9. She’s the top general of Alexandria, the main kingdom of the game who for much of the first act serves as an antagonist and is basically very Fleurdelis coded in being “The World’s Strongest Woman”.

      • atomicnmare on July 24, 2025 2:15 am

remember when she did a genocide
that was cool how she got away with it

    3. Pitagor on July 23, 2025 8:42 am

Dude the Fleurdelis retrain being a quick effect is so cool

      • Dedede on July 23, 2025 9:24 am

not really as the original Fleur was a quick effect too.

When will Konami stop making support for archetypes that DON’T need it, and start making support for those that DO?!

    4. Samurex on July 23, 2025 8:46 am

Looks like she’s caught in the Despian conversion

    5. Namesky, King Of Comment Section on July 23, 2025 8:49 am

I suppose that’s form of Fleurdelis that she will show in next episode of anime? She will get messed up by Tri-Brigade and we will get the trope of “fighter sheds their armor to become quicker and stronger”?

      • Rue on July 23, 2025 8:54 am

If you look it has the despia diamonds around her. I think that this is what was happening inside Quem at the climax of the story before becoming Luluwalilith.

      • Read Talmud excerpts on July 23, 2025 10:11 am

Look at the artwork of Icejade cradle. It has fleur in these same exavt torn clothes and the hole markings all over her body. This could have been after she broke free from her armor after dogmaticalamity, but it may also be what you said. The shackles on her that look a bit like the bystial ones are what make me question the chronology

    6. HFIL on July 23, 2025 8:53 am

So this is when the redhead becomes Relic. Also, dang, that trap is good.

      • Pineapple on July 23, 2025 9:59 am

I wish we could get a monster card of the redhead from before she was transformed into relic

    7. Pitagor on July 23, 2025 8:59 am

Funny how these cards are better Regenesis support than the direct support they got

    8. Sulyvahn on July 23, 2025 9:27 am

I’m asking for the lore, did Fleus die at the end of the final battle ?

      • aing_hirup on July 23, 2025 9:52 am

No, in Swordsoul Punishment, she’s joining Swordsoul to defeat Maximus.

      • World of Pain on July 23, 2025 9:56 am

She died before the final battle. She was resurected during that battle as Despian Luluwalilith then returned to the dead at the end.

      • Candle on July 24, 2025 6:58 am

pr sure she had a “last hurrah” back at maximus in swordsoul punishment, which im pr sure comes after Luluwalilith but, it is as I understand it her final act.

      This works well with regenesis

    11. Narf on July 23, 2025 9:50 am

Love those cards, although they will primarily make a difference in pure-ish Dogmatika decks. In Labrynth you’d have to relinquish Dominus Impulse though, while also risking letting your opponent play too much as 2500 ATK is a pretty generous threshold. Yummy, Maliss and Mitsurugi play under that with ease, while you’d have to let a Ryzeal opponent get to either Detonator or Duodrive.

In Dogmatika it also has at 1 additional playable target, Dogmatikaturgy, which summons a Dogmatika ritual monster from your deck, which can be another type of disruption with the level 8 ritual.

      • J. D. Guy on July 23, 2025 10:54 am

“although they will primarily make a difference in pure-ish Dogmatika decks.”

Going by the 2 cards Tri-Brigade received, I have a feeling that’s the point. That is, I think these scatter support the Albaz themes will get will be intended to specifically and primarily help support the pure/non-engine/non-hybrid versions of the Decks they’re made for.

We’ll see if that pans out for anything else we get, but that’s the perspective the 4 cards we’ve gotten so far seem to be leaning towards.

    12. Pineapple on July 23, 2025 10:02 am

Come to think of it, this is most certainly intended to support the new chronicles deck coming in October

    13. Venom on July 23, 2025 10:18 am

This card could be useful in Drytrons.

    14. Adrián on July 23, 2025 10:36 am

It is funny that a dude was claimed Konami was putting more effort into rush than regular ygo when you get artwork so detailed like these, and these types of artwork are not rare in current ygo releases. Now if you don’t like the busy artwork and like the more simple (nothing wrong with being simple, I actually like it better that way) artstyle then you would like rush products more.

      • plumpapimpim on July 23, 2025 10:42 am

Local yugioh player learns about personal preference – masses stunned

      • Naransolongo_BB on July 23, 2025 10:43 am

Don’t think anyone was claiming the artwork was where the effort was going. Moreso that Rush has more room to experiment since it’s not got complex loops/otks/other rulings chicanery to avoid.

    15. NemDaFo on July 23, 2025 10:41 am

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned dogmatikaturgy with this card that can be a turn zero lvl 8 or lower dogmatika ritual

      • NemDaFo on July 23, 2025 10:42 am

Mb can only be exact lvl still not bad

      • HarleyQuinn on July 23, 2025 11:40 am

Only White Knight, but that’s still the best target and worth mentoning. It’s a great Turn 0 play.

    16. Ztar on July 23, 2025 12:54 pm

This seems amazing for stun decks. A big body and T0 interruption that relies on traps you’re probably already playing. Between this and the Dominus cards, trap decks are having a much easier time going second.

      • FleurdelisSiscon on July 23, 2025 1:11 pm

Trap decks don’t play Punishment as it’s simply too low impact nowadays.

Furniture Lab: Can’t play this because it needs high impact normal traps and Punishment is bad as it locks you out of the ED which the Furniture version needs to make big pushes

Stun Lab: Would rather play Boardbreakers like Lava Golems/Sphere Mode and Floodgates

        Eldlich: Uses the Extra Deck

Dinomorphia: Same as Stun Lab where Boardbreakers and Solemns are simply better

        Odion: Uses the Extra Deck

Paleo: In theory has the space for it with a single Punishment and you can’t go into the ED on turn 2 but Fleurdelis conflicts with Reasoning and is just a garbage mill

    17. Lonk on July 23, 2025 2:12 pm

This is why Fleurdelis is the GOAT.

    19. Agustín on July 23, 2025 4:39 pm

More Stun Support…. Stun can now play 18 Handtraps.

    20. Narf on July 23, 2025 6:10 pm

Now if Springans could get some love as well, I’d really appreciate it. It’s by far my favorite of the Albaz lore decks. Second place goes to Therion with Dogmatika coming in third.

      • Namesky on July 24, 2025 12:18 am

Probably next month? It’s obvious that these are released along with Chronicles anime and I would expect that next month episode will introduce Spriggans.
There’s also non-zero chance that they will get some tie-in with Sprights and Therions when we will reach their small side-quest they had in story.

    21. RefreshRespite on July 23, 2025 9:30 pm

Gotta love all these whiners, like, “this deck doesn’t need support, give my legacy deck from 2008 support instead.”

I last remember dogmatika played as its own deck with freaken Aleister/Shaddol when those were still playable.

Whereas conversely legacy support for archetypes like genex get custom card treatment to attempt to even make a deck that old playable. Only to realize you have to play genex cards in your deck which makes less sense when your foundation is so far behind

      • JH on July 24, 2025 12:39 am

        OH Really?

    22. Ehs on July 23, 2025 9:54 pm

This is really good, but it’s more of a generic than Dogmatika support unfortunately.
We Dogmatika players will continue to suffer from collateral hit again if it turns out to be too generic.

    23. Flatinum on July 24, 2025 5:35 am

Why weren’t these cards revealed during the live stream on the YU-GI-OH OCG channel last Saturday (7/19/25)?

    24. yod on July 24, 2025 8:01 am

I wish all other handtraps were designed like this

A general use for more than just being a hand trap, but that comes at the cost of it having certain restrictions on when it can be used
But those are being balanced out again with having the deck as a toolbox, which is balanced again by having a delay before the effect, and a speciffic restriction from the opponents side

All in all a design which id love to see more often, since it basically removes all problems i generally had with handtraps, both as the one playing it, and as the one sitting on the opposing side of it
