[DRAGON REFERENCED]
Wings:
“Because the wings on its back have grown large enough for it to fly, the wings on its ears have regressed”
Claws and spikes:
“Part of its claws and spikes have turned into obsidian”
Floating skulls:
“Reference for the grudge effect”
Appearance without the miasma:
As a side note, the Japanese name for the monster is revealed for the first time: 滅亡き闇 ヴェイドス (metsunaki yami veidosu, most likely). The first two kanji form the word “metsubou” which translates to “destruction/extinction”, possibly relating to what the Japanese name for Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction may look like. However there’s a play on words by using the second kanji as “naki”: It would become a negative modifier to the first kanji, “destruction”, which would make it a word like not-ending, not-extinguishing or non-destroying. Polishing it a little, it would be something like “Veidos the Endless/Inextinguishable/Indestructible Darkness”.

His body is like 70% tail. I bet you can get boss weapon if you cut that tail.
I see these reference arts and I cannot help but think; “damn, really wish Solid Vision was a thing”, but not the solid vision that makes things look like and anime hologram, that’s lame junk that reiterates Yugioh is a CHILDREN’S card game. I want the monsters to look REAL! Think GOT, LOTR, HP, Monsterverse, etc.
Last time the monsters looked real it led to an apocalypse that split the world into four.
I think we’re good without.
If konami doesn’t bother making a figure of Veidos the Dragon of Endless Darkness then I think they would be missing out on a great marketing opportunity.
God, “Veidos the Endless Darkness” goes hard.
This boss had an amazing ost
Oes it mean that the “TCG-exclusive” so called word premier cards and their ideias are also just made OCG Konami?
Obviously. Nice to have hard evidence to throw at people who really thought they were making “retroactive” edits uncovering cleavage and such lmao
Kiddies have no concept of behind the scenes production
TCG don’t draw nor design cards, they just make boobs smaller
I thought this was known for a while. There is no ‘TCG Konami’ that designs cards. It’s all the usual card designers in Japan.
I noticed this when i saw the uncensored War Rock cards.
The people who design all the cards are probably all the same (maybe there are some teams, like “anime-decks, lore-decks, etc” but probably everyone on the same place/larger team. An it is in OCG/japan i guess.
Midir the Dark Eater is looking weird
If this archetype was as strong as its artwork goes hard, I’d be better than full power tearlaments.
Dragons from Yugioh never disappoint design-wise.
