Imagine a world where Konami TCG renamed Novox as Skull instead of Lo to keep the original mistranslation consistent
Wdym? Both “Novox’s Prayer” & “Skull Guardian” have “Rō” in their OCG name written. It could mean “Law” or “Lo” as well, TCG just messed up like all the times. There is no “Novox” nor a possibility for Lo to be called “Skull”
windzy, it’s been reiterated that Skull Guardian’s “Rō” is meant to be Law several ways. TCG localizers are just inconsistent idiots. They probably thought they were being clever. AI would probably be more consistent in their job at this point.
Dark Duel Stories and other games has Skull Guardian’s flavor text as: A guardian of the law that doesn’t forgive cheating. Attacks enemies with its sword-like arms.
The long blades of the law.
