For a second there I misread the Link monster’s name as “vavavoom” and was about to make all kind of jokes. XD
Does this deck has a decent end board if any? Cuz at this rate, this deck doesn’t have a chance even in duel links lol.
Man, I wish the prices reflected that.
The deck is crazy in Genesys. That’s why it’s expensive.
then in theory the link’ll be cheap
Genesys archetype thus a pump and dump for pack filler.
No Krosea backrow just yet maybe next set
second effect link 2 is odd because mechanic summon this archtype while opponent no control spell/trap
You can also summon those same ones if MST is in the grave, which the link also searches. So it’s functionally an out to one monster along the way to ensuring you shouldn’t be stuck on monsters in hand.
I think the bigger problem is that the 3rd effect isn’t super synergistic with the 2nd if you don’t have another body.
Would this work with Master Peace deck? Probably not, it just crossed my mind…
There’s a typo in typoon … Nice!
Y’all think Krosea will go up in price? Right now it’s not too bad….
I hope Konami at least erratas Twin Twisters to have its name be treated as Mystical Space Typhoon while in Deck, field, & GY because so far we have no retrain of MST to make the theme be a little better.
The link monster having 0 attack feels like a very gratuitous restriction
It wouldn’t matter much since you can just use its 2nd effect once you used the 1st and 3rd. And you can recycle it from the GY with one of their quick play spells once you pop it with MST
My bad, the trap is the only one that recycles, but only for spells, I was wrong
Does the link monster still have the effect to set the continuous trap card while the link monster is in the spell and trap zone? If it does this is actually pretty awesome, if it doesn’t then it’s still okay but not amazing.
I’ve been championing this deck for a hot minute, but seeing the new link makes me feel like a fool
Yes! I love this archetype.
Ah yes konami’s favorites gimmick. Putting monsters in the S/T zone as Continous Spells or Traps.
It’s pretty appropriate in this case at least, lets MST function as a wonky form of monster removal
It became a standard after Snake Eye, which is understandable because before that we had two archetypes with a strong focus on milling cards or banishing them while monsters as spells/traps were something quite unexplored (C.B was the only precedent and pendulums are a separate category despite sharing qualities)
I mean, its makes sense for a archetype based around destroying S/T to have a effect that turns monsters into S/T
@@D.D not D/D it’s been around since Crystal Beasts.
Looks like Eye of the Typhoon finally has a friend in Varuroon
