What kind of anti-synergy is that with shuffling back the normal monsters that you need to increase what you’re able to negate lol
The pro is that you can use monster that are banished.
Balance dude, it’s something not tier 0-1 decks have.
It’s 100% about recycling banished materials, which will be much more important with Dragon Rulers existing and being splash able again. Field and GY are on one hand just kinda bonus/there, but you can use non-normal monsters from those places.
Also, looking at the fusion, and remembering Dragoon, thinking [butterfly meme ]”Is this Branded support?”
I’ve done some testing, the deck k has no issue getting vanillas in grave.
Primite fusion = easy five-headed dragon
He’s just one fusion target, the amount of dragon fusion monsters you could make by shuffling materials from field grave or banishment I imagine is a lot.
The only deck I could see having a lot of normal monsters in the GY, is Magikey.
Or am I missing something? Feels like any other deck cannot really make use of the second effect properly
World Chalice
Materiactor
Ore Dragons (what Primite gets its lore from)
Blue-Eyes
Gem-Knight
Exodia
Mokey Mokey
Yeah, Deck Builder is right–Blue-Eyes can, with consistency and ease, get 1-2 Blue-Eyes White Dragons in the GY, shutting off Spright/Yummy Decks and Link-1/Link-2s.
Yeah, Deck Builder is right–Blue-Eyes can, with consistency and ease, get 1-2 Blue-Eyes White Dragons in the GY, shutting off Spright/Yummy Decks and Link-1/Link-2s. It doesn’t seem too much of a hassle, considering it’s a one-card combo to get Nether Berzelius out.
Bruh, FIRST OF THE DRAGONS IS BACK LES GOOOOO
Agents play 3 shine balls. Imagine the synergy, shuffling back all the balls and then bring them out again by Venus.
The real problem is the Primite requirement. Both Agents and Beryl need that normal summon.
A very easy dark magician the dragon knight combo
If I understand this correctly, this should workith tokens right?
in other words, you could make a really nasty dragon ruler deck, which uses dracosack to lock the opponent out of link, and low level starter play
1. Summon Primite Fusion Dragon
2. Activate Scapegoat
3. ???
4. Profit!
Token are non effects monsters, not vanilla. Like link 3 gaia
Tokens are normal monsters and always have been.
is this the first effect that equates link ratings with ranks and levels?
No, but it hasn’t happened as often you it seems like it would have by this point. That said, I don’t recall the last instance of it, just that it has happened before.
What a useless Negate effect. “Just put 8 or more Normal monsters into the grave to have a relevant floodgate, bro. Trust me, you want bricks in your deck for this!”
Most decks literally can’t do their plays without their low-level starters + Links, arguably most powerful extra deck type, is hit extra hard by this effect.
You really just need 4 normal monsters in GY to cripple like 90% of decks. Not that difficult in dedicated deck.
You shouldn’t even be allowed to touch the extra deck without sacrificing consistency (fusion spells or tuners) and this was sort of the case until, let’s say, 2010. Making negate universally “useless” sounds like a good plan.
Dude what? Tell me you missed the point of the card without telling me you missed the point of the card.
With just one monster, you shut off all Link 1s. So Traptrix no longer has Sera, it’s primary problem card. Yummy is now incapable of making it’s Synchros as normal. Clockwork knight is now shut off in machine decks. Prank Kids loses Meow Mu. AND I CAN KEEP GOING.
Most of the problematic cards in archetypes is their Link 1, which is often designed to get their specific game plan online. One monster? Poof. But since you lack vision, I’ll help you further. Add one more. Suddenly both I:P and S:P are no longer a problem. Cross Sheep loses its value. And again, we can keep going.
Now nevermind decks that are required to keep a certain degree of normal monsters in it like Millennium, or Magikey, most decks can very easily meet the one monster threshold, which again, shuts off all Link 1s while it’s on the field. That right there will often be nearly a scoop on its own. But in those aforementioned decks? 4-5 isn’t out of the question and suddenly we’ve just lost Ryzeal, K9, and all Link 4s and 5s.
It might require foresight, but useless? If that’s useless I need to see what you’d deem as useful.
If I was using normal monster fusions I’d rather just summon First of the Dragons and annoy people, far less investment than this dude.
I’m running it in ojamas
Tokens are definitely normal monsters lol. You might want to reread your rules. Scapegoat was used a ton early on in Link format to summon things like Link Spider, which needs a normal monster. Tokens are always normal monsters, and also are always non effect monsters.
Exodius synergy perhaps
?
it give blue eyes a way to shut down yummy, so i suppose its kinda nice
The crazy thing is until JUST recently mtg only had ONE support card for vanilla creatures. Ygo vanilla enjoyers are spoiled in comparison though I know a certain someone won’t be happy for this stuff being tied to an archetype.
This is the first and last engine I’ll ever support because it revolves around normals. All other decks should be decks again! I do miss the lv 6 dude banishing Dokuroyaiba, the one and only normal FIRE fiend. Also neat that it’s a rare case of a non-side deck removal s/t (Drillbeam) being used. Not to defend mystic mine but those days brought out the “my deck that’s 99% combo filler will be POORLY built if I have to main deck removal not in the form of monsters!” Oh well, sound like a you problem.
Skull Knight (the gx character) patriots in control. Milling 30 vanillas and just living you best life, good vibes.
I’m sorry, my mind went straight to “does Berzelius have to deal with Ghasts on its way to eat all of the Hoglins”
I’m high and tired, but am I the only one confused as to why the fusion spell shuffles into the deck, the fusion monster’s floodgate relying on monster, on the field or GY, and having a float that only summons from deck?
What’s confusing? You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
1.) You can also shuffle from the banishment.
2.) Balance purposes.
Activate black luster soldier legendary soldier – add advanced ritual arts – ritual summon legendary soldier by sending 8 normals to the grave – normal either – set lordly lode- Activate lordly lode add primite fusion – tribute either to send a normal to thr grave – Activate fusion – shuffle back either + 1 normal – profit
I like how fusion art is just dude having a snack
What is this? Anti-Snake Eye ?
Good enough. WELCOME BACK BRANDED FUSION!
