The beginning of our new era!
It’s been 5 months since YGOrganization parted ways with GGRecon and returned to my direction. While on the surface it may not look like much has changed, that’s because behind the scenes I’ve been working on a much bigger and more ambitious group of projects for our community, which took priority over things like redoing the home page skin of this site (that’s still coming).
The first thing I’d like to talk about is the Yugioh Passport. This is a new tool that will be integrated into all of my existing sites, as well as others who wish to join the network, as a sort of single-sign-in tool. You register for a Passport, and like a real passport, it acts as your ID on every other site that recognizes it. This means you’ll be able to log into this site for the comment section, Yugipedia for your profile and edit histories, and other similar things on other sites. The Passport itself will have a website with user profiles on it that keeps track of your metrics across the entire network such as comment counts or other scores, points etc, on the other sites that are still to come, so I won’t elaborate too much on this.
If you sign up for a Yugioh Passport with Discord FIRST, then other methods get associated via your Discord email. If you create an account FIRST, then, if you log into Discord later after you’re already logged in, the emails won’t have to match to associate it with your Passport account.
Our hope is that this system will allow you to seamlessly jump from site to site, tool to tool, & game to game, across the various online Yugioh communities, with one singular account. This will help site owners cross-moderate (getting banned from one site will follow you to other sites), and ban evaders will lose progress across everything, which (in theory) incentivizes people to grief and vandalize less, for example. That sort of thing will be more relevant down the line. For site users rather than owners, the benefit is that you will simply be logged in to these sites upon visiting once they are fully integrated into the network, which means you don’t have to constantly keep registering for multiple websites, and if you arrive on a site and are logged in already, you know that you’re in network and on a site you can trust!
Next I’d like to announce something that has been a very long time coming:
Spellbook is the first of our new sites/tools.
This site is the next step in our ongoing projects. Already built into our Passport network, this is the first and easiest place to register for your Yugioh Passport.
This tool allows you to build, and browse, decklists made on this site, or from various events. You can import YDK files, paste Duelingbook URLs, or build from scratch. All decks can be exported as YDKs that will work in the other various deck clients, despite the features that make this one unique.
To start us off: Printing support!
Spellbook’s deck builder allows you to pick the specific printing, rarity, etc, of the cards in your deck! Perfect for making wants lists, or just accurately emulating what deck you have in real life when sharing the list online with people. Try using ctrl, or shift, when left and right clicking cards, to see all sorts of customizable options and hotkeys to more easily add or remove cards to the main or side deck. Hovering a card in the main and typing an S, for example, will move the card to your side deck, while double-clicking it from the search menu will add it to your deck directly.
Next up, we have binders!
Binders are pretty bare bones, there is some arrow key and WASD support for turning the pages, but most of our early updates will be for these. There are plans, for example, to have it track binder contents paired to various deck contents. If you edit a deck and add a Ghost Rare Stardust Dragon, while there’s one in your green binder on page 3, it will let you know! While adding Stardust, did you remove the Ghost Rare Black Rose Dragon to make space? You can also quickly add it to a binder. This means you can share your binders online with friends and arrange some trades before going to locals, much more easily.
There’s plenty of things to discover as you browse around the site, but also more to come. Feedback, questions, and comments are obviously appreciated, but the best way to get them to me is via Discord at discord.gg/theorganization so feel free to join and talk my ear off (or complain).
I hope you guys really enjoy Spellbook, and I can’t wait to show you what else is planned for Passport in the future!

Seems awesome.
If U want me to test test the site for Any Possible Issues or bugs, I do so for a living.
Would be happy to be of service, if U would like.
Just email me (email should be saved I presume)
Can I use a csv file to import my collection ?
It would be revolutionary if Dueling Nexus and other sites allowed access to its work tab so that people could program and publish their own cards on the platform.
This will be a neuron killer ‘;..;’
both masterduelmeta and ygoprodeck are very good so spellbook life will have to compete with those
Please add Rush Duel in Spellbook site, thanks
It’s on our to-do list.
Good and very solid projects. While it’s not something that’s ultra-needed right now, a site that collects card art would be fantastic. But it’s just a suggestion
Something like Scryfall for yugioh would be insanely helpful in the long run.
@lobohobo you mean like excavate.top is?
aren’t yugi pedia and yugi wiki already doing that?
You’re gonna wanna add some kind of Reduce Motion option on Spellbook because it’s slow as hell on some mobile devices, which I assume is where you’d get a decent bit of traffic from.
I can’t add “C” cards like Retaliating or Contact to my binders
Apparently I can’t add any card with the ” in the name
This has been fixed! Thanks for the report.
There’s also a problem with alternative arts like One for One or Polymerization, if I choose to put in the alt art version, both versions will be added and the regular one will be showed
Neato. To be honest, this doesn’t seem like something that I’d use, but it looks very useful to those who might find them helpful.
Site is slow on mobile, and cards load slowly, let me know if you need help with the site
