Oh sweet glory, this shall be fun
Time for Black Luster Soldier to share in the Rush Duel artwork glowup treatment that Zera just got!
Ironically, with the arrival of BLS, we have two Chaos Decks in Rush Duels (both released this year): Chaos Galaxy and OG Chaos.
Either way, I’m more curious about which Anime Deck they’ll decide to support here (so, what original Deck will they create from a Monster that didn’t have its own Deck)
I hope we get a new Megaroad Pack, as there are so many unprinted Anime cards in GO RUSH.
Kinda’ getting bored of this whole ‘build support around classic vanilla Ritual’ schtick already. Hopefully the other major archetypes in this pack are cool.
Well… that’s because classic or memorable Ritual Monsters are generally glorified Normal Monsters.
Only the Rush Dueks-exclusive Ritual Decks offer better variety since they aren’t limited by Nostalgia.
But here’s the thing, In Rush Duels. Ritual Monsters have more variety than their Master Duel counterparts, whose decks worked with cards centered around them or concepts that harks back from older Yu-Gi-Oh media such as, video games, manga, and anime.
Konami is easing the game into the summoning mechanic.
When Fusions first came out they had two specifically named materials – one of which was high Level and the other a vanilla – with no real support for those themes. Fusions slowly became more generic and/or began using a common material. Then they introduced cards to support the vanilla material. Then we got more generic Fusions, and easier ways to Fusion Summon such as from the GY and Contact Fusion.
Rituals have to start somewhere, especially since they are generic. This is why we have non-Effect Ritual monsters for now. 100% this also means we are getting other Rituals to support BLS too.
BLS is one of the 3 themes in this set.
Finally, the Jersey support we’ve been waiting for
