        Manabu’s Chemicalize monsters are sometimes designed around birds, as a reference to Gakuto having used a few bird monsters in SEVENS.
        This monster is Aqua to further support Volcalize Phoenix and Suirai, the two bosses of this archetype.

      Okay, now I’m convinced that JP021 might be a FIRE Pyro.

      Whereas JP019 was FIRE Thunder and JP020 was FIRE Aqua.

      Pretty sure the ジェムズ in the monster’s name is in reference to James Watt (ジェームズ・ワット) , whose work revolutionized the concept of steam engines as a whole (one could even argue that the blue glowing device on the monster’s back is a reference to Watt’s contribution: the separate condenser).
