The newest Duel Trial event is now live, with the rules being Rental Competition #3. Like the previous ones, you cannot your own Deck, and can only play using the loaner Decks presented. Win 3 times to get 1 pack from the newest set, Passage of the Sun. The loaner Decks this time are focused on alternative win conditions:
Condemned Message:
“In this Deck, aim to win by using the “Destiny Board” and “Spirit Message” cards in conjunction. The “Spirit Message” cards placed on the field by the effect of “Destiny Board” will always be placed in a specific order. The key card that supports this play is the “Sentence of Doom”. You may place the “Spirit Message” card with this card’s effect, but you may not change the order of the cards placed with the effect of “Destiny Board.” How you utilize this effect will change the outcome of your play.”
Forbidden Power of Infinity:
“In this Deck, aim to win by putting “Exodia the Forbidden One” and 4 other cards mentioned in the card text in your hand. Use effects such as draws to add cards to your hand as fast as possible. Whether you can deploy means to block enemy attacks while collecting necessary cards will be the deciding factor to your victory.”
Venomous Turnover:
“When using this Deck, placing 3 Hyper-Venom Counter on “Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes” will lead you on the path to victory. To Summon “Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes,” destroy “Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes” with any method other than in combat to trigger “Rise of the Snake Deity.” The Special-Summoned “Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes” gains increased ATK with each Reptile-Type monsters in your Graveyard. This will give you more opportunities to deal battle damage to your opponent, and lead you to victory.”
