Card Review.
– Hungry: Basically, it gave us a way to recycle the Trap Card related to the Deck, as well as improve the Deck’s OTK potential (the Deck lacks better Ritual Monsters and something to free up the Bricks)
– Noodle Ninja: It further encourages the use of Level 7, Pyro Normal Monsters and OG Fusion. I still feel the Deck needs more (especially Low-Level Effect Monsters)
– Delirium: It doesn’t change the Deck much, but at least it makes it easier to bring out your Boss Monsters from the Main Deck.
– Grace Princess: Both cards help the Deck overcome some obstacles. Emaki is quite good, but its Level is awkward (in a Deck full of Bricks). More than Monsters, the Deck needs a better Backrow.
– Lovely: We still need to learn about Rabbit, but Fereshte does what it does well. However, the Deck needs something to protect its Backrow (it’s very dependent on it)
Appreciated
Hungry: I agree that the support helps their OTK lines, but I think the bigger improvement is actually the added consistency for Donut and Shake. Special Coupon being treated as “Coupon” in hand/GY makes their real starters live far more often, and Shake looping it gives them a reusable battle‑position flip. It doesn’t fix the Ritual bottleneck or the Level 6 bricks, but it’s still a meaningful upgrade.
Noodle Ninja: Yeah, the new cards definitely push the deck further into the Level 7 Pyro + Pyro vanilla direction. Strai is the real standout for me since it finally gives them a proper starter and smooths out the Fusion requirements. I agree they still need more low‑Level effect monsters and more Fusions for Stock/Tang to round out the engine.
Delirium: Same page here — it’s a small consistency bump, not a structural fix. It helps Calabrone/Rosalia when you don’t open Hopper, but they still need more Silbyx‑style GY pieces and better backrow recursion.
Grace Princess: Emaki is strong enough that the awkward Level doesn’t bother me too much, especially since she reuses Lore Leimey and Dog sets up the GY for the Ritual resetters. Dog also helps Ever Mari lines. I agree the deck could use stronger backrow, but these two cards do a lot to smooth out their early‑ and mid‑game.
Lovely: Fereshte is solid for what she does, especially as a non-Level 4 body for Ange and a way to recover and summon the Level 7+ bosses. But yeah, Lovely is extremely backrow‑dependent, so some form of protection or recursion would help a lot. Hard to fully judge until we see Rabbit.
these Localize names man…….
these are translated not localized
your right but “Masked Fiery Noodle Ninja Strai” VS. “Strain the Noodle Ninja” not complaining but man these boring renames are annoying and i wouldn’t be surprised if these renames will be the official name in the west. look what happened to “Secret Investigator” fun creative name now changed to “Agent” in west. like i said im not complaining just Annoyed with the Unnecessary name change.
They are effectively the official localized names because Duel Links already localizes the names of Rush cards, many of which appear in Sevens and Go Rush using the same names.
Not to mention Duel Links, which gave us the English names for several Decks that don’t exist in the Anime.
– Love became Lovely.
– Berry Fresh became Freshberry.
– Legend became Legendary.
Extra: Surging-Wave is known as Hydro Sword in Duel Links.
