It’s been confirmed one of the jury members will be the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! himself.
The third MAGIC International Manga Contest being held during the 2019 Monaco Anime Game International Conference will have Kazuki Takahashi, author of Yu-Gi-Oh! as one of jury panelists.
He will also be there for autograph signings and a conference.
The winner of the contest will have their work published online in Shonen Jump. They will also have the chance to spend a month in Japan where they’ll be able to meet with Mangaka, a Shueisha publisher (i.e. a Tanto) and get a chance to extend their partnership with the publisher for an additional year.
June 12th to October 15th will be the Registration period and drawing boards submission period.
November 13th will be the announcement of the 10 main chosen stories
January 17th, 2019 will announce the 5 finalists
March 9th, 2019 will be story presentation, jury deliberation and winner announcement.
