It is said that his crimson armor is dyed that color from the blood spurting from every enemy commander he cuts down and the flickers of the fires that rage around him, so it becomes even redder as time goes on.

Honest question… why are all these yugioh figures like $180-200+ for just a piece of plastic? I don’t understand the market appeal and high pricing for all these yugioh figurines. Can someone explain it to me
I guess people just like to have them as collectibles. But even i dont pay that much for a piece of plastic
Agree. I mean I would love to have the Tachyon Dragon figure, but it costs over 400 dollars and for a figure that doesn’t have any special effects or anything I find the price a little ridiculous. The megahouse figures maybe still be a little overpriced but at least most of there are little more cheaper then other high quality figures.
This is normal price for an anime figure, actually on the lower end.
This is not a low-quality toy for kid from 3 to 9 years old that will be bashed against the wall and disposed. It’s a high-quality display piece, a collectible piece of art.
Stop being poor.
I have seen a lot of good quality figures costing only $80 to $120 USD(for example, Kotobukiya’s Artfx J series), these yugioh figures are definitely on the more expensive side.
@Namesky whatever shill lol. I’m sure Konamoney appreciates your total simping for there big bucks.
Edit: surprisingly, Accesscode Talker is actually pretty cheap.
@Kuroisenpu I bought a Judai Yuki figure off of Amazon for 44 dollars and the figure looks amazing.
A community, where people paying hundreds of $ for cardboard cards, but arguing about a plastic figurine. And when it’s not hundreds… even 20 $ for one printed cardboard is questionable, viewed objectively.
It’s the material, coloring and grade of details of a figurine and of course the license. Sure, you can buy cheap figurines (often fakes or poorly made like Funko Pops) made of cheap plastic on e.g. Wish. But genuine, official licensed products are often more expensive. If you own more figurines to compare them, you know what I mean. There’s a huge cap in quality between low price and high price figurines. (Especially in things like heat deformation.)
To be honest, Union Creative often has unnecessarily high prices.
@Jiro you make/paint custom figurines!
@Kuroisenpu that’s because one of the accesscodes is a model kit like a Gundam and those are cheaper than figures, the other is like a 5 inch tall desk ornament. shi-en’s probably twice the size but is definitely over priced by like 10k yen though since the Chazz figure was only 18k, DMG was like 24k yen and is more popular. I’d say 18-25k yen is the normal price for scale figures based on amiami’s front page
