Just drop a bucket on it.
AGOV-JP024 Tarai
EARTH Fairy / Effect
LV4 0/0
You can only use the effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) If this card is in your hand: You can target 1 face-up monster in the Main Monster Zone that activated its effect on the field this turn; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon this card to the zone that monster was in.
TL Note (the first of many for this batch): “Tarai” is the word for “washbasin” or “tub”, and you may recognize it as an item that falls on people’s heads as a stock trope in anime or video games (hence this card’s effect). Here, it is written using the kanji 陀羅威 (ta-ra-i); while the “i” kanji means “menace, threat, intimidation”, the “ta” and “ra” kanji are probably not being used for their actual meanings (“steep” (slope, not tea) and “silk, spread”) but for their common appearance in Buddhist names and terms like Amida and Shura (hence this card being a Fairy-type).
In short, it’s kind of like “common prank but on the scale of divine punishment”, or vice versa.

So, does this mean that they’re going to errata the “Kaiju” to only be summonable with their Special Summon effects while “Kyoutou Waterfront” or a “Kaiju” Spell/Trap is on the field? Because this is a little more fair than “Eat an opponent’s monster for free.”
Fair? If the opponent’s monster’s activated effect has already gone through, removing it does nothing in most cases.
Man I love bees, but you are basically saying that Kurikara is useless or almost. Chimera can easily otk thanks to this card, but I’m pretty sure other decks could make some use of it as well.
Earth fairy huh?
And also level 4
