Quite curious how this card supports Maximum monsters despite it being used in the anime.
I wonder if “Otes” will use a Maximum in the arc finale?
Naaah, is just for mechanic
I don’t think the Maximum condition in Maximum Mode is a clue or anything, but rather an extra addition to give the Trap Card value.
However, Sevens Road (or Spellcaster in general) hasn’t had a Maximum Monster of its own until now despite the Deck being used by many Characters (plus GO RUSH hasn’t introduced a new Maximum Monster since the start of Season 2)
First card in the game who summon in maximum mode:V
I wait for this mechanic, but is very strange see time machine be the first
I thought it would be a Legend.
Its effect is not good enough to qualify as a Legend.
There are plenty of legends that I think would fit under “Not good enough to be a legend” but ya know are still legends
Wtf is “maximum mode”?
@Seth Maximum mode is unique to Maximum monsters that let you Special Summon it from hand with an “L” and an “R” Maximum monster with the same name also in hand (3 cards total) that is treated as one singular monster on the field. The separate cards have their own stats and effects while the Middle piece also has a printed Maximum Atk which is used while in Maximum mode. A monster in Maximum mode has no Def stat and cannot be summoned/switched to Defense position similar to Link monsters in the OCG.
So in this case, Time machine would special summon all 3 pieces and enable Maximum mode immediately if used. A similar interaction would be with Compulsory Evacuation Device which, when used on a Maximum mode monster, returns all three cards to the hand and not just one.
Ok, I didn’t expect them to reveal this card (I was expecting the last remaining Dice Key Monster)
Although, Time Machine is a card that was foreshadowed since Episode 128.
And well, I’m surprised that Konami is experimenting with Maximum lately (even dedicating an exclusive Tournament where you can only use Decks that have Maximum Monsters)
Praying for Yoshi rn 🙏
This seems like it’ll be a pain to code in
