At this point it’s amazing how Konami can keep making new cards and themes every month but won’t bother trying to translate the remaining anime and manga cards yet to be introduced to the main game, or create new original cards for existing archetypes that only get legacy and/or 1 card support, if they spent like a year on nothing but reinforcement support for existing archetypes and not print any new ones I’d bet the game would look more inviting, and more varied.

They tend to save porting over cards from the anime and manga for sets like Animation Chronicle, so you’re best served waiting warmly for them there than bemoaning their absence from a formula that’s reliably not included them.
Speaking of said formula, said formula DOES include support for existing themes on the regular — for example, the recent Lunalight and Gouki support in DUAD and DOOD, as well as (for non-anime theme support) the Monarch & 5D’s-era Psychic support in DUAD and the True Draco & Solfachord support in DOOD. That’s definitely more than just one card of support apiece in all of the mentioned cases, at the very least.
I -cannot- for the life of me parse your bemoaning them not making ‘new original cards for existing archetypes’ in the same breath as saying they get ‘legacy support’ as though the latter does not consist of the former, though. Are you wanting them to make cards for existing archetypes or are you not?
Regardless, I’m fairly sure that if you paid closer attention to what’s actually coming out as a whole, you’ll find a lot more exists that you’d be happy with than if you just let yourself get bogged down by what’s coming out that you’re not a fan of . . . which, honestly, is the ultimate point of how main packs are structured these days — there’s something in them for everyone, whether they’re looking for nostalgia, the newest plotline, new things that don’t come from said plotline, or even just assorted odd singles or drip-release archetypes like this one’s. Just gotta keep an eye out for what you like, and either acknowledge or gloss over what you don’t.

He is not the only one who is annoyed there is quite alot of discord if you look across reddit, its been over 20 years and there is still a ridiculous amount of cards that havent been ported over from the manga and all animes, they have also pressed delete on animation chronicle and duelist packs and what has taken both their places is very underwhelming.

I mean what anime/manga cards are people actually wanting, pretty much all of them have unusable anime asspull effects and a lot of them wouldn’t even makes sense on a card let alone be good, people complained about useless pack filler for years do they want that now or do they just want a completely new card with an anime screenshot for the art. I do not get it

is the second effect an activated effect, I don’t remember flip psct
and also how does it interact with stuff like pseudo private knowledge stuff, say you have 4 flip monsters face down, but you have previously revealed 1 of them this turn, or even last turn and set it back again through an effect, it should still be public knowledge that you have it, the translated text doesn’t say “face-up” flip monsters

Needs to make cards that allow you to Flip Summon during the same turn it was Set/Special Summoned facedown.
Y’mean like Mocha? ’cause WAKE CUP! appears to be the latest drip-fed archetype in the vein of Duston and Deskbot, and in this case the play seems to be using Macchia to summon herself and Erl, use Mocha to flip Macchia, then Macchia flips Erl and Erl gets to drown three enemy cards for the trouble, after which Mocha will Set herself so that her own Flip Effect can be used in a little while.
Which, like, yeah that does not a fleshed-out Deck make, but much like Deskbots 001, 002, & 003, we’re definitely starting to see the overall shape of things; we just need a little more to work with — I’m personally hoping for something to fetch cups (so that Erl is easier to get to) and/or something to drink them (so that Erl’s revive gets some easier use).

there are so so many in there which would actually be usefull and playable in flip decks since enneacraft, but simply dont bennefit from all the amazing support because they arent technically flip monsters
