You can only use the (1) and (2) effects of this card’s name once per turn each.
(1) If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can destroy 1 other FIRE monster in your hand or face-up field, and if you do, add 1 FIRE Beast, Beast-Warrior or Winged Beast monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Fire King Consort Ulkanix”, then you can make the Level of this card become the Level of that monster added to the hand.
(2) If this card is destroyed and sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 “Fire King High Avatar Garunix” from your Deck in Defense Position.
TL note: The name of the card is written as “炎王妃”, which could be read as “Fire/Flame Queen/Empress”. However, the theme name is “Fire King”, so it needs to be worded like that. Just think of it as the companion to the king.

Just to be clear, the OCG Structures Manga is different from the Manga that’s currently telling a story with the Sky Strikers. If I recall, that one’s called OCG Stories.
OCG Structures is the Manga with protagonist Shoma, and he plays in what’s basically a fictionalized “real world” with Duel Disks, using real life cards and themes. However, they occasionally use 1-time new cards that are intended to be made into promos for the collected Volumes. (The characters switch Decks frequently, and someone is currently using Fire Kings.)
For reference, Dracomasters of Tenyi (spelling?) was the first such card. Magikey Verpathu, the Rank 8, was also from OCG Structures, among a small handful of others.

It searches any Fire Tri-type monster, so I’m sure there’s some cheese to be had.
The first effect makes this an easier to use and more versatile Circle, with an optional Level modulation effect for Xyz plays. Second effect would have been decent if you can summon Sacred Garunix instead of the original, which did not age well and is barely played if at all in modern builds.
Second effect was probably specifically designed to give OG High Avatar Garunix usage in the modern takes on Fire King. A free casual Level 8 FIRE body is a free casual Level 8 FIRE body. The Deck can spare the 1-of minimum, I’m sure.
Given that we’re stuck with ‘Fire King’ as the name of the archetype, I wonder what the TCG will localize it as. Could call it “Fire Kingdom [something] Ulkanix” like Fire Kingdom Empress Ulkanix or something so it’s a Fire King card, but she gets to have an impressive title. Just spitballing, as I imagine Konami will just slap on a “(This card is always treated as a “Fire King” card)” line.
“Ulkanix, Consort of the Fire Kings” could work.
The consort is a giveaway that she is a wife to the king… What do you mean?

Nah.. she is likely the human form of Fire King High Avatar Garunix… I am about to complain about why FK still get more supports, but after reading the 2nd eff yep this is fine
Wtf are you talking about? Garunix is CLEARLY male, that’s just normal since phoenixes are often females but Garuda is a male deity. This woman instead is basically the “Diviner” of this archetype, but it’s gonna be the first FK support in a set after almost seven years, the fourth overall but all of them were singles. The deck has very few cards, all the FIRE stuff that’s coming out is generic and the only reasons this deck is doing so good is the Link that’s actually usable by every deck.
