“Battlewasp” Deck Featuring “Gingerbread House” Deck Commentary
A “Battlewasp” Deck that uses cards from “Collection Pack: Duelist of Revolution”.
Special Summoning “Kaiju” monsters to zones “Insect Shinobi Hagakuremino” points to, and then use “Gingerbread House” to destroy those monsters during your opponent’s Standby Phase, allowing you to Special Summon Insect monsters with the 2nd effect of “Insect Shinobi Hagakuremino”.
You can add “Kumongous, the Sticky Thread Kaiju” to your hand from the Deck with the 1st effect of “Resonance Insect”.
Also, since “Battlewasp – Hama the Conquering Bow” and “Battlewasp – Twinbow the Attacker” can attack twice, the Deck uses “Robbin’ Goblin”.
– Knight of Hanoi
[Key Points]
A Deck that primarily utilizes “Gingerbread House” as a measure to destroy “Kaiju” monsters Special Summoned to the opponent’s side of the field.
With cards like “Kyoutou Waterfront”, you have an abundance of means to get “Kaiju” monsters to your hand, and the typical play after you get them is Tribute an opponent’s monster to Special Summon one, and then after the turn ends, you destroy them during the opponent’s Standby Phase.
Besides “Robbin’ Goblin” working with the double attacking “Battlewasp – Hama the Conquering Bow” and “Battlewasp – Twinbow the Attacker”, it’s also worth looking at “Trackblack” as support.
If both are on the field, the difference in the size of each player’s hand will be quite considerable.
[Advice]
It’s important to bear in mind that if “Kyoutou Waterfront” has 3 or more “Kaiju Counters” on it, the 4th effect of “Gadarla, the Mystery Dust Kaiju” can use its 4th effect during their Standby Phase to halve the ATK of all other monsters on the field, which can be a stressful position.
“Battlewasp” are WIND Attribute, meaning that “Wynn the Wind Charmer, Verdant” can be used with them.
While it hasn’t been released as a card as of the time of this writing, it’s good to think about considering and using the Link 3 Insect “Seraphim Papillon” coming out in “CHAOS IMPACT”.
You’ll be able to Link Summon it by Special Summoning a WIND monster from your opponent’s GY.
