Delirium Rebirth seems like it’s really good!
Especially so once we get that one Monster that turns opposing Monsters into Insect-Type as a Continuous Effect.
Damn.
Fusion summon during your opponents turn? And the second monster can be from any side of the field? This card slaps.
Now delirium have the 2 ways to use super poly
It’s actually just Super Poly in a trap card. If the 2nd requirement doesn’t need the insect monster this has the potential to be a staple if we ever get a generic target (and will still be staple removal in insect decks).
There’s not much protection to your monsters being fused right now besides Praime Pierce giant and the Delirium fusion iirc. Delirium is pretty small right now so we’ll have to see what Ninsect brings to insects before I judge properly
For a second I thought it was Nemleria support.
This card looks good on paper but if they dont announce like an insect monster or a field spell that turns your opponent monsters in insect as a continous it wont be very useful, because normally you will clean your opponent board of their monster in the battlephase, so they wont be any card left to fusion with.
The Konton Ninsects were part of the big reveals and in the anime they had continuous effects that would turn opponent’s monsters into insect type and buff their own monsters based on the amount of insects on field. It’s likely they’ll inherit that when they’re actually released in the game.
This card is surprisingly balanced. While you can’t fuse into Pierce Giant, if you have Ageha out, you can still steal your opponent’s Dwarf before they can fuse it themselves and summon your archetypal Fusions. If we had more ways to treat an opponent’s monsters as Insects on their turn, or more Delirium Fusions with powerful continuous effects, this card will be even better.
Mariquita and Sheul can treat an opponent’s monster as an Insect until the end of their next turn.
Unfortunately the ideal is to remove a monster your opponent just summoned onto the field so again Ageha is the best monster to work alongside this. But this does work on most Fusions and 2-Tributes.
This card is likely good in the mid to late game. Awful at the start.
It’s funny that Super Poly’s Trap ended up being more balanced than Imaginary Arc Turnover, which I’d say is a slightly better Trap Card than Delirium’s Trap Card.
Either way, something tells me that Delirium won’t have many Spell Cards, but it will have several Trap Cards and Monsters.
Remember Yugioh was about bizarre and unique monster designs, not just anime things over and over again?
boo hoo get over it
