Continuous Spell
(1) Once per turn: You can declare 1 card type (Monster/Spell/Trap); each player reveals the bottom card of their Deck, and if they reveal a card of the declared type, they add it to their hand. Otherwise, they place it on the top of the Deck.
(2) If this face-up card in its owner’s Spell & Trap Zone is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect: You can make your opponent place 1 card from their hand on the bottom of the Deck.

Why would your opponent EVER destroy this?

it’s there to disaude your opponent from using something like lightning storm i guess
UNIRONICALLY there are a couple of decks that shuffle cards back to the bottom of your deck after searching. Including generic cards like pot of prosperity.
This is usable, but at most a 1 of or something
Exactly. They should make a searcher for continuous spells like Pharaonic Advent.
This could be one card that some people could use.
Some cards can use this, like Nouvelles field spell that can place 1 nouvelle ritual to bottom of deck, or maybe something like Tear Havnis I guess
