Note: I think this card is potentially referencing the company KINCHO (金鳥), whose main corporate symbol, a rooster comes from the Idiom 鶏口となるも牛後となるなかれ (“Better the head of a rooster, than the rump of a cow”, basically the Japanese version of ‘Better the head of a cat, than the tail of a lion’, i.e. it’s better to be at the top of something small than at the bottom of something big.).

It’s also a homonym of  禽鳥 (Caged Birds) and 禁鳥 (Legally Protected Birds).
