How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old Deity?

A “Duel Terminal” World Addendum Story
The Fomenting Schemes Of The Fabled
Gods of War who forced the Gate of Chaos open, bringing further mayhem to the surface world. It was believed that they were pushed back to their hellish prison by the massive power of the Ice Dragon, but they had been accumulating power to return once again to the surface.
The Mask of the Forbidden Curse
“Fabled Gammajin” was a Fabled from The Realm of Roars who had “the power to summon the souls of those who died in sin”. In the past, he cooperated with the oldest spellcaster, “Fabled Miztoji”, but after he stole the Mask of the Forbidden Curse, known for its taboo power, and was overthrown for it, he was banished to the surface realm. His whereabouts became unknown, along with those of The Mask. Later, while he was enjoying his fight against the Jurrac, he lost his life due to the impact of “Jurrac Meteor”. After a long time, his remains attracted the “Evilswarm” (the embodiment of wicked thoughts awakened from the corpses of the Steelswarm) and were used as a catalyst.
Fabled Gammajin
With the passage of time, a large number of wicked souls gathered around the remains of Gammajin, who had “the power to summon the souls of those who died in sin”, reacting with the “Mask of the Forbidden Curse”, giving birth to the most perverse being: “Steelswarm Origin”.

The Search for The Mask
Most of the Fabled who were enjoying their fights in the surface realm were exterminated by the unleashed “Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier”. Those who narrowly survived awaited for the recovery of “Fabled Leviathan”, who had sustained serious wounds. During that time, Leviathan assembled those who survived and commanded them to search for the lost “Mask of the Forbidden Curse” in order to regain his power. The search proved to be extremely difficult, but the scout “Fabled Lurrie” discovered the “Mask of the Forbidden Curse” emanating wicked thoughts in the vast wetlands.
Fabled Lurrie
However, the mask they discovered had absorbed countless wicked thoughts, becoming “Steelswarm Origin”. Despite numerous sacrifices, they managed to retrieve the Mask from Steelswarm Origin and rusehd back to The Fabled Realm.
Evilswarm Thanatos
“Fabled Ragin” and “The Fabled Unicore” took part in the search, jumping ahead and trying to seize the Mask for themselves the very moment it was found. As a result, they were invaded by the wicked thoughts of the Evilswarm held inside of it, but Lurrie and the others took this chance to tear off the Mask.
The Return of the Absolute Deity
Leviathan wants to restore The Fabled Realm by any means necessary. When he heard the report from Lurrie and the rest, he decided to use the “Mask of the Forbidden Curse”. In addition to its forbidden power, the Mask had absorbed the power of the Evilswarm, and it was feared that Leviathan would transform into an Evilswarm himself, but he managed to overcome this thanks to his terrifying mental fortitude and his thirst for combat. He gained even further strength by turning the power of the Evilswarm into his own.
Fabled Levilazebul
The return of the Absolute Deity who rules over the Fabled Realm was equivalent to the resurrection of the Fabled Realm itself. Following the orders of “Fabled Levilazebul”, the Gate of Chaos was opened. It was now possible to face strong enemies in the surface once again – An expression of delight appeared in the faces of the Fabled, who surged into a new battlefield.

TL note:
-“The Realm of Roars” (轟界, goukai) is one of the layers of the Fabled Realm. As we learned in the Duel Terminal Master Guide, the Realm is divided into 3 layers, one for each kanji of the Japanese name of the theme (魔轟神, magoushin, demon + roar + deity).

So…
Season 1 Add-ons: Jurrac (probably), Ice Barriers (Prologue in terms of timeframe)
Season 2 Add-ons: Genex (in terms of timeframe), Fabled (either this or 3)
Season 3 Add-ons: Ritual Beasts, Infernoids, Nekroz (most likely), Gem-Knights (either this or 2)
I feel like this lore page is some hint towards another problem for the Season 3 decks like Nekroz, note how Nekroz also got support in the same pack Fabled did.
Here I’m hoping for Worms and Neo Flamvell this year. I think Gishki are a guarantee. If they pull from season 3 maybe Qli support. But I’d rather see Mist Valley, Gusto or X-Saber get something.
If Master Duel displays a pattern, every other DT gate they do gets support. There was Genex, then a gap, Fabled, then a gap, and the last one in this pattern was Mist Valley. I think there’s a high chance Mist Valley get support in TW3
So we finally get an answer to the evilswarm question, turns out it was both the Steelswarm and Fabled combined that made them, not one of them.
“No one cared who I was, until I put on the mask.”

Wait… Is Leviathan the only one to actually withstand the Iswarm’s corruption and make it his own?
