Strategic Summary:
With the reign of Thunder Dragons finally coming to an end in the TCG, I figured it would be a good time to bring this theme back up from a creative perspective and look at other cards that could function well as tech options for the theme. As an archetype, Thunder Dragon are best known for their combos as they move in and out of the hand, GY, and banished zone, so expect them to do a lot of that. That said and unlike my normal CDPs, this was designed to showcase a range of options, such as a Wattrain engine or Photon Sanctuary, therefore it is definitely not fully optimized. Instead, I’m hoping you take these ideas to refine on your own to build and experiment with! Either way, this list still packs quite a punch, making full use of the archetypes Fusion capabilities as well as its Link Monster! So check it out, then go have some electrifying fun for yourself!
Note: this profile was produced before Toon Chaos was officially revealed, thus it doesn’t have any of those new cards included. Sorry. But you should definitely consider playing Thunder with some of those sweet new cards!
