    Libromancer Cynet Firewall Combo [CDP]

Hidden potential, brought forth via Ritual!

    Replays:

    Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and today’s build is built to spotlight the comic-based TCG WP theme, the Libromancers! This archetype consists of Main Deck effect monsters that ‘power-up’ into their alter-ego Ritual Monster forms with the help of their Field Spell, Libromancer First Appearance. This Field Spell can be used any number of times to Ritual Summon a Libromancer monster, and that is quite central to this build’s success. Now the other defining trait of the archetype is that each of the Main Deck monsters can reveal any Ritual Monster in hand to Special Summon themselves – letting you extend and swarm the field quite consistently. From there, infinite potential awaits.

Before I get into combo specifics, let me first cover the generic TCG WP support wave released to enhance the Libromancers, even though they’ve since been incorporated into competitive Mitsurugi variants. Miracle Raven is up first, a Pendulum/Ritual that can summon itself, then be treated as an entire tribute for a Ritual Summon. When you do, it tutors another Ritual Monster. The other new card is ASHLAN U1000, a Cyberse LINK-2 monster that can reveal a Ritual in hand to tutor another with a different Type and Attribute – isn’t it nice that the diversity of the Libromancers give you so many options? These two cards gave the deck even more consistency beyond that which Libromancer Origin Story, Libromancer Fire, and Libromancer Geek Boy already gave to the strategy, allowing you to pull off some insane combos involving powerful Cyberse monsters.

As you’ll see in the replays, this deck has a few different avenues for endboards, so let’s talk through your options. Since the Libromancers can now access any Ritual with ease, Cyberse Sage is a great addition that unlocks the Fusion Summoning of either Cyberse Desavewurm or Diplexer Chimera, using Cyberse monsters in your GY. Then, since it is a Tuner, it unlocks a Synchro Summon of either Firewall Saber Dragon OR Serene Psychic Sorceress. Why would you pick each route? Well the first route is if you want to give 4 counters to a Link Summoned Firewall Dragon Darkfluid, as Saber will be your Cyberse Synchro. The second route nets you a set Teleport Fusion, allowing you to Fusion Summon Axon Kicker Oracle during the opponent’s turn, giving you a Special Summon negate that can summon itself back to your board. Regardless of choice, due to Protectcode Talker and the free monsters given by Cross-Sheep and Cyberse Witch, you can also technically add on a Firewall Dragon Singularity to your endboard, adding a mass monster bounce as well. In tandem with the disruption offered by Libromancer Intervention, you should be well-off to make the most of your material.

Hopefully you enjoy this hyper combo deck, but if not, catch you next time when I’ll foray into showcasing tech options for a well-explored competitive archetype!

This deck sure looks impressive when every opponent opens zero handtraps or when they do and just wait until the end of your combo do something like in that first game
