Enneacraft Evil Eye Tindangle, ft. Phantom Revenge Support [CDP]

Pendulum FLIPs, now that’s a combination!

    Replays:

    Strategic Summary:

Today’s CDP features the debut of the Enneacraft archetype on my channel, and I’ll try to keep it brief since those cards have SO much text to read through if you want to play the deck. In short, there are two ‘classes’ of Enneacraft, which I’ll refer to as the base form and boss form. The base Enneacraft monsters – such as Proto Enneacraft – “orgIA” – each allow you to play them in the Pendulum Zone and pay 900 LP to tutor at random, 1 of 3 Enneacraft cards from your deck. The boss Enneacraft monsters – such as Enneacraft – Archa.TAIL – destroy an opponent’s monster at the end of the Battle Phase if there’s another Enneacraft in the other Pendulum Zone. Additionally, both forms gain an E.C. Counter whenever a monster is flipped face-up. For monster effects, both base and boss Enneacraft can reveal themselves to Special Summon any monster from your hand in face-down Defense; however, you can only Special Summon in face-down Defense if you use this effect in a turn. As for the final effects, each Enneacraft monster also has a specific condition that allows it to be flipped face-up when the opponent does something, then applying a FLIP effect after being flipped. So yes, I failed with the attempt to shorten the text, but here’s what it means: Machine Pendulums go FLIP, each flip nets you an E.C. Counter or two, and then their Field Spell, Enneapolis, removes all E.C. Counters from the field to burn 900 for each. Yup, that’s the win condition folks, and boy does this deck do it well.

While there has been a lot of experimentation in the OCG and now TCG with various engines to pair with the Enneacraft, I figured I’d go basic for this first time out by pairing them with the Evil Eye and Tindangle, and let me tell you why. For Evil Eye, the goal was simple – take advantage of the 3600 LP you’ll lose during a normal playchain due to the base Enneacraft Pendulum Effects. How? Well, Serziel, Watcher of the Evil Eye can be Normal Summoned and tutor Evil Eye of Gorgoneio, allowing it to gain ATK equal to the difference in LP between you and the opponent. It also has a great disruptive effect for during the opponent’s turn, and if you equip it with Evil Eye of Selene, you make it indestructible as well! On the other hand, I’ve also included a small Tindangle engine, as Tindangle Intruder goes really hard with being able to be summoned anytime you summon via Enneacraft, plus Tindangle Jhrelth makes for a great option to tutor any FLIP monster you need from your deck while setting Intruder up in the GY. The rest of the deckspace is filled by stall options, whether it is Sol and Luna to flip a monster on both boards or Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon to set your opponent’s entire board. Embrace the geometric art of FLIPs, with the new Enneacraft theme!
