Another cross-theme hybrid, coming right up!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another amalgamation of a deck strategy, this time focusing on the Traptrix and Centur-Ion archetypes with a splash of a bit extra. The Traptrix archetype consists of EARTH Plants and Insects that revolve around supporting the Trap Hole archetype, whether it is Bottomless Trap Hole, Gravedigger’s Trap Hole, or Terrifying Trap Hole Nightmare. To do so, Traptrix Myrmeleo tutors any on Normal Summon, and Traptrix Dionaea recovers one from your GY on Special Summon, but most importantly, Traptrix Sera sets a new one from your deck when a Traptrix monster effect is activated. While most Traptrix decks tend to sit on that heavy control playstyle from the backrow, I decided to take it in a different direction by building out the board with additional options for disrupting your opponent, and that starts with the Centur-Ion.
The Centur-Ion archetype are a neat bunch that aim to place themselves into your S/T Zone as Continuous Traps, and each of the Main Deck monsters can Special Summon themselves during the Main Phase. Their goal is to Synchro Summon their Level 12 boss monsters, as Centur-Ion Primera is a Level 4 Tuner that just happens to tutor any Centur-Ion card on summon. If you happen to Special Summon something while Stand Up Centur-Ion is on the field, you can immediately Synchro Summon, either into Centur-Ion Legatia or the new Centur-Ion Arkcoela (YGOrg Translation). Each performs a different role, as Legatia draws a card on summon and protects your other monsters from being destroyed by battle (including Traptrix Sera), while Arkcoela tutors a Centur-Ion card on summon and protects your face-up cards in the S/T Zone. The Centur-Ion theme even has a Normal Trap of their own to trigger Sera, Centur-Ion Phalanx, which also has a GY effect to Special Summon a Centur-Ion Synchro from your GY in a pinch!
While these two archetypes play pretty well in the sandbox together, since the Centur-Ion primarily Special Summon themselves and leave the Normal Summon for the Traptrix, it just wasn’t enough. Since both themes utilize a Field Spell, I decided to include Revolution Synchron and Ancient Fairy Dragon, as there are just so many Level 4 monsters to leverage for that combo chain in here. Since I was thinking about additional Field Spells, it got me thinking – what other Field Spell could help this deck expand its disruptive potential, then it hit me – Rikka Konkon. Konkon can set any Rikka S/T from your Deck while you control a Rikka monster, and Rikka monsters are pretty easy to come by when you have Rikka Queen Strenna just 2 Level 4 monsters away. Additionally, if you set Rikka Sheet with Konkon, you have yet another Normal Trap to trigger Sera during the opponent’s turn, while also being able to tribute one of their monsters as cost! Plus, grabbing Rikka Princess with Rikka Glamour is just such a lovely feeling, giving you yet another disruption to interrupt your opponent’s hopes and dreams.
This brings us to our final theme in play today – the Aroma. Fresh off their new support wave, the Aroma plants have a few cool tricks up their sleeve here, such as Aromaseraphy Jasmine tutoring a new Plant whenever you gain LP via the effect of Ancient Fairy Dragon. You can also easily Link ladder up to Accesscode Talker in a pinch, as Aromalylith Rosemary can grab a copy of Aromaseraphy Angelica, Angelica can increase your LP with your Jasmine in the GY, then Angelica can bring itself back to then Link into Accesscode. Unleash the true power of a hybrid strategy by combining the Traptrix, Centur-Ion, and a few other power players!
