In honor of yesterday’s reveal, here’s a special profile!

Strategic Summary:
Debuting soon to the OCG in the next Deck Build Pack, Grand Creators, designers of the Brave Token series asks one question: How can one token be the star of a deck? Unlike the Swordsoul who just use their token as their Tuner for Synchro Summons, the Brave series entire board relies upon it and expects it to remain on the field the entire duel to achieve victory. This adventure all begins with Rite of Aramesia (YGOrg Translation) which summons your Brave Token, then activates Journey of Destiny (YGOrg Translation) from your deck. For Journey’s effect, first you can add a monster from deck to hand that lists Brave Token, then you send 1 card from hand to the GY. So let’s talk about the supporting monsters. Wandering Gryphon Rider (YGOrg Translation) is the strongest, a Level 7 that can Special Summon itself from the hand while you control no monsters or a Brave Token. It can return itself from the field to the deck to negate the activation of any card or effect! Magicite Warrior of the Ancient Ruins (YGOrg Translation) is your other main search option in this progression, which can Special Summon itself from the hand while you control a Brave Token. Then, at the end of a Battle Phase in which one of your monsters that mentions Brave Token battles, it sets a trap that lists Brave Token directly to your field.
Thus our adventure continues to the Traps. If you control Brave Token, Resurrection Breath (YGOrg Translation) can Special Summon up to 2 monsters from your GY, then equip an Equip Spell from hand/GY that lists Brave Token to a monster you control. But more often than not you’ll be tutoring the other Trap, Thunder Discharge (YGOrg Translation),which targets Brave Token then destroys all of your opponent’s monsters with less ATK than it… and then you equip an Equip Spell from hand/GY that lists Brave Token to a monster you control. Speaking of Equip Spells, that Journey of Destiny I mentioned earlier has another effect that triggers whenever a monster is Normal or Special Summoned – it adds an Equip Spell listing Brave Token from Deck to hand. There are three different Equip spells, one that buffs ATK, one that reduces the opponent’s ATK, and a third that can spin an opponent’s card back to hand when it’s equipped to a non-effect monster (read this as Brave Token). Each of them, when sent to the GY from anywhere, re-equip to a Brave Token you control, comboing nicely with Journey’s search effect!
Since this theme clearly relies on that one Normal Spell to summon Brave Token, it wasn’t until the final reveal yesterday that all the theme’s pieces fell into place. Aquamancer of the Sanctuary (YGOrg Translation) can banish itself from the Hand or GY to tutor that Rite of Aramesia, giving you yet another way to kick off your adventure. Oh, and there’s also a Field Spell element to this deck, but I’ll let you discover that on your own by watching the replays. So enjoy the duels, enjoy the adventure, and be sure to check out this new theme in action!
Note: As many of these cards were recently revealed, most of the names used below are YGOrg translations of the OCG text. As these cards are also yet to be released even in the OCG or backed by official rulings, card interactions as they currently stand cannot be fully guaranteed. As always, I’ve provided links to the Yugipedia pages for all of the non-TCG cards in the decklist. Feel free to use those links to fully explore the new Brave Token Series!
