Strategic Summary:
Welcome to a special edition of my CDP videos, this time featuring the newly revealed Apodrakosis theme that’s coming in the upcoming Crossover Breakers Deck Build Pack. This archetype features Level 10 monsters that unite the Dinosaur, Wyrm, Sea Serpent, and Dragon Types into one cohesive strategy, plus it features a Ritual Pendulum!?!? What more could you ask for? Let’s start with Guangba, Luminous Apodrakosis of Starforge (YGOrg Translation), the deck’s Level 10 LIGHT Dragon Ritual Pendulum. Its Pendulum Effect is simple – tutor any non-Pendulum Apodrakosis card then destroy itself. As for its Monster Effect, when a monster on the field is destroyed while it is in the Extra Deck, it can tribute a Level 10 Apodrakosis monster, Special Summon itself, destroy up to 2 cards you control, then place that many Apodrakosis Continuous Spells on your board. If that wasn’t enough text, each of your Continuous Spells give Guangba even more effects! For example, Apodrakosis Ascension Gate of Dinocrag (YGOrg Translation) gives your Level 10 Dinosaurs and Apodrakosis Pendulum Monsters the ability to return a face-up Apodrakosis Continuous Spell to the Deck to negate the activation of a monster with less ATK. Or, Apodrakosis Ascension Gate of Serpentfall (YGOrg Translation) gives your Level 10 Sea Serpents and Apodrakosis Pendulum Monsters the ability to return a face-up Apodrakosis Continuous Spell to the Deck to return a card on the field to the hand.
Speaking of the Level 10 monsters, let me introduce you to the Field Spell who brings them out all at once. Apodrakosis Ascension Crest of Transmigration (YGOrg Translation), on activation, lets you tutor 1 Dinosaur/Sea Serpent/Wyrm, banish 1, and send the last to the GY. This sets up perfectly for its second effect, because while Guangba is in your Extra Deck, it allows you to Special Summon 3 Apodrakosis Monsters with different Types, one each from your Deck, GY, and banishment. In one fell swoop, you’ll summon out Baba, Champion Apodrakosis of Wyrmhaze (YGOrg Translation), Kuaiba, Rugged Apodrakosis of Dinocrag (YGOrg Translation), and Yuanba, Abyssal Apodrakosis of Serpentfall (YGOrg Translation), giving you three Level 10 bodies to use for things like the Xyz Summon of Varudras, the Final Bringer of the End Times. Aside from being summoned by the field, each Apodrakosis Monster can tutor its corresponding Continuous Spell, each has an effect to Special Summon itself, and finally, each can return its Continuous Spell to activate a final effect. For example, Yuanba can banish your opponent’s entire hand and force them to redraw a new one.
Now that I’ve introduced you to the new theme, let’s talk about why I paired it with the Voiceless Voice today. The Voiceless Voice is an archetype that supports any and all LIGHT Warrior and Dragon Pendulum monsters, which pairs quite nicely with Guangba. Not only that, but they have such innate consistency that any one of Lo, the Prayers of the Voiceless Voice, Diviner of the Herald, or Barrier of the Voiceless Voice can lead to a full Apodrakosis combo, tutoring first Guangba, then using him to tutor the Field Spell. Also, with Skull Guardian, Protector of the Voiceless Voice summoned as the 2nd or 4th summon in these combos, you have protection from threats like Nibiru, the Primal Being for all of your combo chains. The Voiceless also add even more disruption to your board, giving you access to Dyna Mondo to spin an opponent’s threat, access to Chaos Angel with Lo and Trias Hierarchia to banish an opponent’s card, and even Saffira, Divine Dragon of the Voiceless Voice to discard a card from the opponent’s hand. Don’t believe me about this deck’s efficacy? Check out the replays, and tell me your thoughts on how effective this combo can be at putting up a nigh-unstoppable board.

Not a bad idea. Any ideas for recovering the Gate cards if they’re destroyed?
Hi there! Sauravis is that answer, as it can shuffle back spells to SS itself. Or relying on the Wyrm one, but that requires you to still have its gate available.
Completely forgot about that part of Sauravis–makes a lot of sense. Big thank you.
