No, you cannot customize an undisclosed release date.
A series of videos showcasing various features and modes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will be released through the next weeks. The first video released today showcases some customization options to change the appearance of the game for you and how other players see you.
This is what a player’s profile looks like. You can see the nickname, Player Level and an ID (which you can use to find a specific player), along with a “followers/following” count similar to a social media platform. There are also up to 4 text-based titles that convey information about yourself to other players. On the more visual side, the top of your profile features a monster art banner, which matches the one in your main screen, a player icon also based on card artwork with interchangeable icon frames, what appears to be a league icon on the bottom left, and a picture that seems to match the mate Rescue Rabbit on the right.
Main screen featuring Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, matching the profile banner.
Player icons. The new ones are Time Thief Redoer, which we saw earlier in the profile, Black Luster Soldier – Super Soldier, and Hela, Generaider Boss of Doom.
Mates, most of which we have seen before, with the new one being Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring.
Player titles, as mentioned earlier.
There’s a replay option to watch Duels you have finished, but we don’t get to see the menu for it.
There is also a data tab featuring all sorts of statistics, a common feature in many Yu-Gi-Oh! video games.
The video once again reminds us of the possibility of playing in up to 4K resolution in compatible devices, and also confirming that the game is not just cross-data across devices but also cross-play between players using different platforms, which was not as explicit in the JUMP Festa trailer.
Finally, the next video has been announced for January the 5th, discussing Solo Mode.
