“Don’t forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember Crow, you are not alone.”
From “Limit Over Collection -THE HEROES-”
LOCH-J020 Oreichalcos no Mafuuken (Orichalcos Sword of Sealing)
Equip Spell Card
You can only use the 2nd effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) The equipped monster’s effects are negated.
(2) If you have a card in your Field Zone: You can target 1 Effect Monster you control; that Effect Monster gains this effect until the end of your opponent’s turn.
● Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can send 1 card from your hand to the GY, then target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy that target.
Normal Trap Card
You can only use the 1st and 2nd effect of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) Target 1 face-up monster on the field; equip this card to it as an Equip Card with these effects.
● The equipped monster is unaffected by Spell effects.
● Once per turn: You can destroy this card, and if you do, add 1 “Malefic” card from your Deck to your hand.
(2) If a card is in the Field Zone: You can banish this card and 1 other “Malefic” card from your GY; destroy all monsters on the field.
Normal Trap Card
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn. You can activate this card from your hand by paying half your LP.
(1) Add to your hand, or place in your Field Zone face-up, 1 “Malefic World” from your Deck or GY, then Special Summon 1 “Malefic” monster from your Deck or Extra Deck in Defense Position, ignoring its Summoning conditions, then, if your opponent controls a monster with 2500 or more ATK, all face-up monsters they currently control lose 2500 ATK until the end of this turn.
Level 9 DARK Winged Beast Synchro Effect Monster
ATK 3000
DEF 1000
Materials: 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuners
(1) If this card is Synchro Summoned using a “Blackwing” monster as material, it is treated as a Tuner while face-up on the field.
(2) After this card is Synchro Summoned, for the rest of this turn, it gains ATK equal to the total original ATK of the Synchro Monsters used as its material.
(3) Can attack all opponent’s monsters once each. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage.

Wait a sec..if equipped, the monster’s effect is negated..but if there’s a Field Spell, it gains a new effect.
But the effect is negated though..
The Equip monster doesn’t get the effect but the controller on the spell card
Hi, I dont know if you figured it out yet on your own but in case you havent what you are supposed to do is equip this to the opponents monster to negate their effects, then seperately target one of your own monsters to gain the new pop effect.
The design intent is that you Equip Orichalcos Sword of Sealing onto an opponent’s Monster, then use its other effect on one of your own Effect Monsters.
You can equip this card to any monster on the field. You are meant to equip an opponent’s monster, and then grant your monster a target pop. However the second effect will almost never come up,
You are only playing this because this negates without targeting or setting up, and Equip Spells have so many searchers and recovery.
so it is terraforming but at 3?
I get the reference with the effect from the anime but as the anime card was blank it could of been a draw effect by banishing this when a field card is played or something
NGL I thought this was the card Yugi used on Gaia to attack Gansely directly not a Rua card.
@Lifedeather “NGL I thought this was the card Yugi used on Gaia to attack Gansely directly not a Rua card.”
For some reason, I, too, first thought of the version of Rainbow Blessing Yugi used against Gansley when I initially saw the card on yu-gi-oh.jp. It was only after staring at it for a few seconds I realized it was Rainbow Bridge Bifrost with the art from the 5D’s version’s appearance.
For the record, this was not used by Luna. It was a card Team Ragnarok used outside of a Duel to help Team 5D’s reach the location of the final confrontation. It also didn’t have any effect text on its card proxy, making it an example of a blank slate card.
@J. D. Guy yeah mb if you are reading this, I realized right after I click send lol after I scrolled down and saw NeoArkadia say it was the rainbow bridge card Team Ragnork used with their Nordic Aesir Gods – Thor Loki and Odin. So many rainbow/rainbow bridge cards in this game man. I am honestly glad though it wasn’t just me who defaulted to the rainbow bridge against Gansely with Gaia from Yugi and still remembered it besides me since it was a game winning iconic play(just rewatched this episode too recently so its pretty good). I also thought it was Rua/Luna card cause she uses a bunch of rainbow field cards – ancient fairy dragon who messes with field spells and her spirit world shenanigans. That was MB, thanks for the correct. Very interesting they are finally giving an effect to another blank card. It does make senses thematically reading it again, 3 Nordic Aesir gods Thor Loki and Odin would meet the requirements perfecetly. I guess we searching the Nordic Lights with this haha.
Bifrost Is beautiful but I’d of expected more from a card that was never fully used in the show and didn’t Sealing Sword banish or allow to attack directly if the negated card was the only monster the opposition controlled?
I think you’re thinking of another card Rafeal used. Orichalchos Sword of Sealing in the show was pretty simple and straightforward. You discard a card you drew that turn to activate it, and it negates the effects of the Monster it is Equipped to.
You’re thinking of Crystal Prison, which Rafeal used in his first Duel, as part of his plan to goad the Pharaoh into using the Seal of Orichalchos.
that synchro BW is the most disappointing sh*t of 2026 … then again, you see it is supposed to support the fake crow from Arc-V and his sh*tty Assault card, you understand why it is SO bad … (its not as bad as im making it, but i hate this assault thing, you even feel its not BW, the OG, even the artwork … same for my boy Aster …)
the rainbow card is a terraforming, future limited card on the list, 100% (I assume its from 5’DS ? I dont remember who used this, seem Luna)
the malefic cards are actually good despite BOTH being traps, INSANE!
the orichalcos is okayish, side deck option more than anything else honestly but still, would you like this or something else ?
Team Ragnarok used it to bridge Neo Domino City to the Ark Cradle to let Team 5D’s stop Z-ONE.
The Rainbow Bridge card was used by Team Ragnarok to use the three Aesir God’s power to get to where Z-one was located because he was so high in the sky they basically used this card to form a bridge.
It was never used in a Duel however. It’s however why it says “Banish 3 Level 10 Monsters” meaning it’s referencing the Nordic Aesir.
Yeah the gimmick of ARC V Crow is synchro climb with all his BW extra deck monsters being treated as tuners lol XD and the big level 12 red one gains attack based off that
Which I believe is the last 2 Malefic cards from the movie
Kusanagi is generic and you can play this in ANY Synchro climb Deck that doesn’t lock you out.
I actually prefer ARC-V’s Crow over 5D’s in a number of ways (though I still love 5D’s Crow), including/especially for his Dueling.
As a Duelist, 5D’s Crow kinda peters out after the final Goodwin Duel, even if he never stopped Dueling on-screen. He got Black-Winged Dragon with a lot of pomp-and-circumstance, but before and after that, his Deck never really grows or expands in satisfying ways. Didn’t help that they nerfed most of the cards he used that they printed at the time into the ground to avoid anymore Blackwings on the Banlist (a design philosophy they seemed to carry back then when it came to Character Decks and themes from the show and comics.) Arc-V’s Crow as a Duelist constantly grows and expands his tactics through each Duel he was in on-screen. He lives up the representation of Blackwings as a Synchro Deck and introduced fresh new tools that helped revive Blackwings (even if not back into the meta) after so much stagnation prior.
Also, I completely disagree on the read for Kusanagi the Gathering Storm. It’s an OTK tool that’s able to to do what Onimaru the Divine Thunder was trying to do when that card was initially released, but in a way that’s easier and overall much better and more efficient. It’s a nice 1-of toolbox in the Blackwing Synchro toolkit.
@N “Kusanagi is generic and you can play this in ANY Synchro climb Deck that doesn’t lock you out.”
Ah! That’s very true. I was so laser-focused on it in Blackwings, I hadn’t considered that because Kusangi’s material line is completely generic, any Synchro-climbing theme has an OTK tool under their belt.
you would hate Kusanagi if you only practice combos in solo mode, this card is so good for people who like how it feels winning going second, this card prepared the deck for the inevitable wave of support that will give it at least 3+ extender cards that don’t need your normal summon
I am so glad to be a Malefic fan.
Oh yeah… my favorite Heroes: Paradox and Rafael.
Leo Akaba is proud of those guys.
Paradox tried to save the world man with his bois aporia and zone u wouldnt understand its better if yugioh dies out he would have saved us from all of this and Rafael helped Yugi bro he was redeemed and a good guy all along he even threw him up the stairs and let himself fall into the rubble just cuz bro knew he wasnt gonna make it in time on a collpasing stairway.
Seriously baffled by konmai’s choices:
why’d they put 3 Villain side cards in LOC the HEROes?
Konami considers them Heros 🙂 who are we to judge 🙂
Because, and it’s pretty clear at this point, the Heroes/Rivals moniker only references the new Over Rares and the characters they are meant for.
When Master Spirit Tech Force was shown to be in the Heroes Limit Over Pack, that indicated the name didn’t extend beyond the aforementioned new Over Rares.
So the Orichalcos Sword can give any WATER monster the ability to trigger Atlantean cards? Flavorful, I suppose xD
Ah, yeah! That’s pretty cute! 😀
Tbf, Raphael wasn’t exactly a “Villain” more like Yeeted down tbe wrong path. Same with Paradox who like Z-One and Aporia just were under immense despair because their future absolutely SUCKED. Lol
Leo is a tricky case because in his mind, and why he did the things he did, he wasn’t trying to be an antagonist either because he was just a tragic dad character. He unfortunately did wrong by what he did to the many people all to get his daughter back.
Pretty much these are less antagonist or protagonists and more tragic characters.
While these cards seem like odd choices, they are several steps above what we usually get in Animation Chronicle since this is a competitive set first and foremost.
Sword and Bifrost are especially strong, but the Malefic cards are also somewhat generic. One Trap gives you a body for free without a lock, provided you play 3 garnets, and the other Trap is Lab support.
Kusanagi is a finisher in Synchro climb Decks.
Even with this being the 6th Assault Black wing synchro, Crow spammed Black wings so hard in Arc-V that he still has 3 synchros left unreleased.
The equip is relly great Doomz support, good going 2nd to break boards and w the new power patron field we also get a pop
I feel like the two malefic cards and the new black wing cards are gonna see more play, especially the new black wing monster since it’s a generic synchro. The other two arent that good imo
Paradox become the second boss villain in yugioh to gave all his cards released. (Kagemaru was the first)
I really hope we finally get “Ultimate Ancient Gear Hunting Hound” in amongst the villans set.
Oh hey, we finally got anime Malefic Paradox Dragon’s OTHER missing effect. Sort of.
Rainbow Bridge Bifrost has potential to be used in conjunction with a fusion deck that can recycle banished cards
What in the actual fu…?
Smfh. These are the reveals? Jesus Christ, man.
Yea, a more balanced version of Terraforming,
I’ll happily banish 3 for terraforming. Not even randomly
For anyone who didn’t notice the subtle difference – no Crystal Beasts cannot search Bifrost, as the kanji is ever so slightly different.
Finally….”Terraforming 2″
Looking forward to the arc cradle field that supports imperial machine emperors, timelords, tech genus, and the FRENCH/Advanced Fleur. I can’t stand DOMA but it’s an interesting sidegrade to axe of fools. A plus for being generic. Speaking of generic I would’ve been happy if Force was only just the first effect but I know why they had to add a bunch of more text.
[Insert spooky gigachad meme here]
There are still unreleased arc v blackwings.
Ahhhhh!
