Let’s Make A Deal.
BLZD-JP070 2つに1つ Futatsu ni Hitotsu (One of Two)
Normal Spell Card
(1) Briefly reveal 1 monster and 2 Traps in your Deck, and your opponent randomly picks 1. You look at the rest and banish 1 Trap among them, then your opponent chooses 1 of these effects for you to apply.
●Reveal the picked card, and if it is a monster, either add it to your hand or Special Summon it. Otherwise, banish it. Shuffle the remaining card into the Deck.
● Reveal the card that was not picked nor banished, and if it is a monster, add it to your hand. Otherwise, banish it. Shuffle the remaining card into the Deck.
Note: This card is based on the famous probability puzzle, the Monty Hall Problem.

This card is weird. I feel like It’s good in maliss
It can only banish traps though, which is eh
briefly reveal lmao
i wonder what the ruling is for briefly revealing
I was just gonna say the same. Such a peculiar thing to put into card text. I’m sure there has to be a reason behind it but whatever it is, it’s weird.
It’s so people understand the cards are to be revealed temporarily before being concealed to allow a randomized shuffling of the cards.
0.1 second reveal
Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Concentration Game
Should’ve been Changing Destiny instead of Fake Trap, would’ve been more fitting
Maybe if the probably was 1/2.
metaphys support
Finally, Metaphys can run 3 Gold Sarc again (4 technically because Gold Sarc itself)
When they will be revealed enneacraft and kewl tune support?
Likewise next week we’ll get ennea and the week after we’ll get kewl tune
Need metaphors support
What traps do we want to banish?
Metaphys and Swordsoul both have one. D.D. Post, which is a staple in Domain format. Not sure what else.
I’d argue any Traps you want to return to the GY in a Paleo deck. They don’t use a whole lot of monsters, so having possible access to those they already do can be useful. Otherwise, setting up 1-of Traps to return to the GY with Leancholia could definitely come in handy, depending on match-ups, available hand and if there’s a Transaction Rollback available to copy with.
A Nekroz Trap Card that is listed on Nekroz of Clausolas, yet there are still none.
Curse of Diabell searches on banish, and sinful spoils traps can be shuffled back into the deck with WANTED and Determination so its kind of okay for a Azamina deck; also Kashtira big bang for a very niche play i guess
Swordsoul traps generate the tuner tokens on the banish
Specifically very useful for my Virtual World Domain deck. Not sure where else this’ll see play, though.
I like this kind of cards. They rarely see actual play but are just fun to mess around. The game within the game.
Metaphys would run this as a 3 of. It let’s them banish the trap card that acts as a RotA for them. It’s not AS good as RotA, since it can’t banish monsters, just traps, but it’s still pretty good. Maybe if Metaphys had more traps that have effects that trigger when banished, it could be really good, but honestly, Metaphys needs some new support in general. The deck can snowball really well, but it’s really weak to interruption in the early game.
“Briefly” lmao i hope someone brings this to locals and a judge has to be called to define how much briefly has to be at minimum 🤣
They first used ‘briefly’ on Bot herder. It’s a meme, but it helps clarify this card.
If I understood correctly, as opponent I have 66% of chance of picking the trap. Therefore it will be more interesting for me to reveal the picked one (although the picked effect is slightly worse, allowing special summon as well)
or u can just go understand the monty hall problem correctly instead of reading the card because thats the accurate explanation of whats occuring here
so this is a 2/3 chance to add ANY monster to your hand? And a 1/3 to ss or add to hand I guess
It’s definitely interesting, but a little too rng for my tastes.
bro probably doesn’t even know what the Monty Hall Problem is, you should go look it up lmao if you are saying “rng”.
Ayy, Monty Hall problem!
one of my favorites
It’s good in maliss now theres a consistent way to bring out dormouse
Wait doesn’t this mean you can always add one monster from your deck to your hand? That sounds way too good, can someone explain if Im wrong? If they pick the monster, you can either add it or special summon it. And if they picked a trap, you can use the second effect and add it anyway? Am I missing something?
The opponent picks which effect to go through, not you. The card would probably become an immediate staple if you got to pick the effect.
Oh ok since it is your opponent who chooses, they can end up revealing the trap and you get nothing
Behind the other two doors, The Black Goat Laughs, and Escapegoat
Great reference! If you win you get SPYRAL GEAR – Big Red
Fun fact: an interviewer asked the actual Monty Hall about this problem. He explained that the game was nowhere near as fair as the problem assumes, because of course it wasn’t. Nobody’s in the business of giving other people money.
This looks like a reference to the Monty Hall Game
Yes based Monty Hall Game
another banger for the Master Duel’s 30 second event OTK strategy.
Would Ash still apply to this, since it’s at the end adding from deck to hand, or would the steps in between here be enough to prevent Ash? Also same question for Droll.
If you can use effects that negate summons on macro cosmos, then you can use effects which trigger from adding or summoning on this
It’s the 3 card monty, you are supposed to huzzle your opponent.
Never switch always stay in the Monty Hall problem
Briefly equals 0.1 seconds
Card feels low key busted. Metaphys support for one but swordsouk as well as ling as you play enough of the traps. Can gain you 2 level 4 tuners off a the sword soul traps banishment effect. Combo this with malice for one card combo with doormouse or necroface banish shenanigans. Very interesting card
This card isnt half bad
Its not once per turn, and has a 1/3 or 2/3 chance (depending on who you play against) to give you a monster, all while giving you a potentially usefull banish of a trap card
While it definitely is very gimmiky, depending on the deck you play it definitely could have a use and with luck would even get you card advantage
Already tried in my Masked/Tiki Deck and this is a great replacement for “The Chosen one” with a Tiki trap summoning the bashed trap as a monster
I still don’t get VRAINS’ SLANDER against Fake Trap in that one Emma episode.
