For every hero, there must be a villain. For every genesis, there must be an eschatological end.

I’m so glad that the support helps make the deck playable as a pure version
Interesting, another card that can negate an effect mid-chain without having to activate, just like Ryzeal Cross.
Thats a way more tame negate. Its pretty much only use is avoiding hand traps.
Sure, but I was mostly pointing out the fact that it’s now the second card from Crossover Breakers designed like that and I dread the idea of Maliss getting their own version.
Correction: Second card from an archetype introduced in Crossover Breakers
Given how close the leaks have been to the release, we can expect Maliss’ negate to be a quickplay spell that negates a monster like imperm
Only so many ways Konami can power creep this game.
Yes, it is really the end of the world. It’s not because Ryu-ge got support, but rather that Ryzeal and Maliss will get support soon.
Thanks to leaks (which also confirmed this one), we know what both themes will get in here. Maliss will have a new monster and Quick-Play Spell. Ryzeal will have a new monster and a Normal Trap.
People act like Maliss qnd Ryzeal are the most broken decls ever even thp its not nearly the case. Snake eyes, Tearlaments are by far stronger in their prime and even now the two are very beatable in comparasiom to multiple formats of other decks.
Still waiting forbthe day when we will get asymmetric pendulum scales
The new monster being a huge dragon makes Melody of awakening Dragon a starter for the deck now, that’s pretty cool. Furthermore the deck can now also just pendulum summon the new guy and have all the effects online. And it works well in combination with both it’s own effect and Mistva, giving the deck additional advantage off popping it’s cards by setting up the new trap.
Also, that trap is nasty, it’s protection, disruption that resets your engine and floats into the other trap, which might now even be worth playing.
Overall a cool package with some advantageous side effects for the deck.
Don’t forget the new guy now allowing the field spell to resolve through 1 hand trap is huge.
It also makes the old trap a disruption (summon the new guy, then pop a card) as well that floats into another disruption (the new trap). That’s a pretty good floor for 1 trap.
Odd Eyes Revolution can search this guy too no?
Erudito Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon is level 8 or lower so sadly no
While this doesn’t do enough for the Deck to make them viable, this is a step in the right direction. The other two themes will be tomorrow and Wednesday.
Probably not rogue viable, but at least enough to make it function as a deck
Well, I guess Crossover Breakers reprinting World Gears wasn’t so off-kilter a choice. I wonder how well it plays with Ryu-ge.
Waste of Link material except for the destruction effect. It loses to backrow, which Ryzeal and Maliss have easy access to (or just Imperm) and gets ran over by Accesscode.
Still waiting for Arcana Force monsters. Don’t know why Metalmorph should get 10 cards across 3 sets and AF only 5. They were both the secondary themes of their initial core set.
This is the last core booster for the QC promotion, so Konami needed a new Red-Eyes and DMG retrain they could attach to an ongoing legacy theme. We already had Blue-Eyes and DM.
Figures when it’s a deckbuldpack.post there aren’t other posts that day to knock it off the top of the page but when it’s something I’m into…
