Hey, so, the Monster that was missing from the package belongs to Asaka and it’s one of her most recent Anime Monsters.
In fact, it was improved in both Requirement and Effect:
– The Requirement now asks that you have two or fewer Monsters on your Field.
– The Effect now allows you to send up to 4 cards from the top of the Deck to the GY. Likewise, if there are monsters among the cards sent to the GY (not necessarily Wyrm), you can use the Monster as two Tributes to bring in some Wyrm Boss Monsters.
A good Monster that can be used in both Asana’s Deck and Asaka’s Deck.
Significantly easier to use compared to the anime, but you are now restricted to only 2-Tribute Summoning Wyrm monsters with this effect, which prevents you from going too overboard in mill builds.
While Ashiba Bikke allows for mixed Type mill decks to flourish, it is almost always going to be used in its intended theme(s) due to their focus on getting specific monsters (both Tribute and Maximum), their Field Spells, and Fusion in the GY to continue their combos. The mill is probably more valuable than the Tribute bonus and serves as an alternate Demolition Survey while committing to field presence and being counted for certain cards that require multiple Wyrm monsters in the GY (such as Absolute Destruction and Constructdea). Trailon, Dragline, Hell Met, and Kasetsu Baiten will also get a lot of mileage from you milling specific cards to the GY that you can summon or retrieve later.
The Tribute effect while underwhelming on the surface gives the Deck an alternate to Silvermountain and gathers high leveled Fusion materials on board more easily, especially as the Deck doesn’t have a theme specific Fusion card letting you fuse from the hand or the GY. Overall a really good card and I am glad its restrictive anime requirement is gone.
