TW03-JP064 影霊翼騎[リーシャドール]ウェンディクルフ Reeshaddoll (Wendiculhu/Wendikulullû)
Level 6 WIND Psychic Fusion Effect Monster
ATK 200
DEF 2800
Materials: 1 “Shaddoll” monster + 1 WIND monster
Must first be Fusion Summoned. You can only use the 1st effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) (Quick Effect): You can change any number of Set monsters to face-up Defense Position, then you can change other face-up monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position up to the number of Flip monsters flipped face-up.
(2) If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 “Shaddoll” card in your GY; add it to your hand.
Note: The card’s Kanji is something like Shadow Spirit Winged Steed. Reesha is from Risha, the Arabic word for Feather.
The name’s is being extremely difficult to parse as we cannot find a good source for クルフ, and our best guess are Culhu (truncated Cthulhu) and Kulullû, a Mespotamian sea monster born of Tiamat. If you can point us to a better guess we would love to hear. As this is being obtuse.

Once we saw the art I knew it saw shaddoll
I thought that was an alt art for wendigo
Effect 1 is change it to face up defence not face up attack.
It was confusing to me cuz she still have the zefra icon
A Shaddoll Fusion Monster that doesn’t even look evil or corrupted anymore. Konami just wants money now.
To be fair… Reeshaddoll Wendi, Shaddoll Zefracore, and Shaddoll Zefranaga have been around for years now. They’ve already been down that road of non-evil looking Shaddolls.
That never really meant much in this lore. Yazi is technically not even a Yang Zing
What a non issue to get worked up about
Exactly, it’s obvious waifu bait for the creeps that are infesting this game. To hell with them.
Yeah cause it is a Reeshaddoll not a Shaddoll/El Shaddoll. Shaddolls have explored archetype members in different alignments with the lore factions since their structure deck.
It’s strange that this card isn’t genetic, not only because it’s a ++ in any flip deck but also because I’ve never seen Shadoll rely on flip effects
they realistically couldn’t before this, at least not reliably in any way shape or form. like, the closest you could come before this when using these effects is connie send incarnation. This is much better way to proc the advantage based flip effects the dolls have on the first turn of the game, and it works incredibly well with it’s wind based counter part in the main deck.
my build did, it’s one of the main combo flipping Noel Shaddoll Ariel with the gy eff of the trap to summon a banish shaddoll to link summon nephilim
They may not rely on them, but the main deck is full of flip monsters and this lets them use that. Could be funny, if not especially powerful outside wacky hybrid decks.
Next TW04 should be included Gishki on the lists. And i hope there is Naturia too.. cope
Finally a good wind fusion
If only Worms had a monster like this. Maybe next year.
I long for the alien Worms. A new main deck Flip support monster that’s name starts with “Z”, the first Flip-Fusion monster as “Worm One” and 3 backrow supports including a proper Field Spell, a fusion spell for supporting Reptiles or Flip monsters and something that brings W Nebula Meteorite more consistently.
Also, fun trivia- this “&” used to be considered the 27th letter of the alphabet. The alphabet used to be taught verbally as “X, Y, Z and per se And”. Now its phrase has been squashed down to “ampersand”. So there could always be a secret 27th main deck Worm monster using ampersand in ts name. 😉
Spiritual Beasts weren’t even allowed to get a new WIND Fusion…
In regards to the translation, I imagine based purely on the design for this new card (as I don’t know how to read or speak JP) and its similarities to some depictions of kulullu (both having fish lower halves), I would imagine that is the more likely inspiration for the name.
@NeoArkadia If you are refrencing Arabic for the Reesha part then maybe the last part is actually Wen”dhikr”. Dhikr is an arabaic worm meaning remembrance. You can find more about it on the wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhikr
(revised)
@NeoArkadia If you are referencing Arabic for the Reesha part then maybe the last part is actually Wen”dhikr”. Dhikr is an Arabic word meaning remembrance. Its a term used for a form of Islamic worship in which they repeatedly recite prayers.
This sounds good, as google fu has come up with クルフ being “kruf”
[リーシャドール] ウェンディクルフ
[Leesha Doll] Wendy Kruf
The main problem, Scion, is the “KURUFU” sound. Q/K R/L and F/H/PH are all possible reads.
I wonder if it’s meant to be […]lph but then it’s not Sylph.
I’m going to laugh if Konami decides “Reeshaddoll Wendikurufu” is the translation they’re going to use for the TCG release
Oh, some folk thought it would be a Zafra, but it was a Shaddoll monster after-all! Cool! Anywayz, I’ve played a lot of Shaddoll decks, but I am not convinced this card is very great yet. It is sort of a built in book of eclipse… but with requirements. Not bad, but feels like there would almost always be other Shadoll fusions you’d want to summon besides this one, and the extra deck doesn’t really have any free room nowadays. Regardless, the card might end up being more useful then the first impression it is giving me, I’ll need to test it out to see.
this seems like it would be most useful in pure shaddoll
Wait couldn’t it be either
Wendicrow (Since Risha means feather)
or alternatively
Wendikuro (Meaning black).
Crow is Kurou. Kurufu is the sound being made at the end of the card name.
of all the archtype in Zefra, Shaddoll is the one to have a route into Denglong? weird but maybe cuz they made evil yang zing in the lore, I hooe this comes with a new spell that also uses monsters in the deck that don’t need opp monster
Yes, support for one of my fav decks. Hopefully, other cards are flip support as well. Maybe a card that copy flip effect of Shaddoll monster.
What did she do to end up with a poor dolphin up her ass ?
Very good card, effect that can be used during your turn to extend + the opponent turn to interrupt are becoming the new normal (same as ecclesia synchro).
The fact that it adds back any shaddoll card and not just s/t is very nice too.
Welcome to hotel DUEA you can check in but you can never check out.
Effect 1 is change it to face up defence not face up attack. (i just notice that i wrote it in reply instead of new one.)
Can this actually add any shaddoll card instead of just s/t? Can it add itself, and can it do so infinitely (no opt on second effect)?
She can recycle herself.
Wendi kururu… CUTE!
KURURU! KURURU!
Kururu!!
Actually, that may be a pun there. She’s literally making monsters spin face-up and face-down.
Will they reveal the other shaddoll support soon or do we have to wait until half november?
You’ll have to wait until roughly November 6th to 8th.
How do you know every reveal, is it by experience or there are the dates of reveal
With her humanistic top half and fishy (dolphin) bottom half, it seems to coincidentally align with “Little Mermaid Curu-F” (リトルマーメイドくるふ).
This card is great but I’m hoping that Shaddoll get a definitive boss monster. Something harder to summon than just a Shaddoll + attributed monster but is more impactful if you can summon it. I feel that is something the deck doesn’t have yet.
Construct use to be the boss monster and a very strong one at that because she just blowing up monster with non target removal. It kinda outdated now thought.
Hey, Shaddolls finally got a wind fusion that doesn’t slurp tremendous booty butter.
Guys what about the monster near the fusion that is a light monster, can someone translate that part of the effect because it should be another shaddoll support
thats just Constellar Caduceus
So she can flip face-up your Shaddolls to activate their effects and then book of moon some opponent monsters?
Pretty good
I’m going to take a guess: there’s a new fusion spell, very generic and summons any fusion, but it has to send flip monsters and the monster it fusion summons is summoned face-down.
As a flip enjoyer, I salivate at the thought.
Looking up “ Kulullû“ shows a merman-like figure. Because of that and looking at the card art, I’m leaning more towards “Wendikulullû” being the intended name of the monster.
the bottom fish part reminds me of ulti-pettlephin (spelling?) in the same way wendigo does, so i wonder if maybe the english will localise as like.. wendilphin or something? to draw a parallel with wendigo, since they both seem to be a vague combination of wendi and pettlephin lorewise, plus it sounds like dolphin? not an accurate translation by any any stretch but that hasnt stopped the localisation team from trying to convert wordplay before, Looking at you Mochikaeru
