    Strategic Summary:

Welcome back to another Creative Deck Profile, and today I’m leveraging the rapid pace and Beast-Type of the Yummy archetype to fuel Tri-Brigade summons and plays! The Tri-Brigade archetype is best known for the ability of its Main Deck Monsters to banish Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast monster(s) from the GY to Special Summon a Link Monster with the same Link Rating as banished monsters. It has a few key bosses at its disposal, such as the LINK-4 Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen or the LINK-5 Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II, but where this deck shines is its ability to supplement the best plays of other combo-heavy decks. The Tri-Brigade strategy also received two new support cards of its own in Tri-Brigade Hammer (YGOrg Translation), which can apply one of two effects to either tutor any other Tri-Brigade S/T or apply the banish-to-summon-Link effect. The other new card is an additional LINK-2: Tri-Brigade Arms Mouser (YGOrg Translation) sends 2 Tri-Brigade cards from the Deck/Extra Deck to the GY on Link summon, plus it can Book of Moon a monster on the field when sent to the GY. The first effect enables a lot of Tri-Brigade effects, since they all tend to do something when sent to the GY!

Now that we’ve covered the primary theme, let’s talk Yummy. This delicious assortment of Level 1 LIGHT/Beast treats aim to Special Summon themselves, deploy Yummy★Snatchy to place one of their Field Spells, then Synchro Summon using a LINK-1 monster as a Level 1 Tuner. This gives the deck a ton of combo potential, especially since the Main Deck monsters apply different effects when Special Summoned via a Synchro Monster effect, versus if they’re Special Summoned through other means. They’re also receiving two new support cards in the upcoming DOOD set, and both fill major gaps: Marshmao☆Yummy (YGOrg Translation) either recovers a Yummy S/T from the GY on summon or, if summoned via Synchro, places a Yummy Field Spell or Continuous S/T onto the field from the Deck or Banishment. Ideally, this is used to place Yum☆Yum☆Yummys (YGOrg Translation), which applies a small burn and LP gain each time 2 Yummy monsters are Special Summoned at the same time, as well as a trigger effect to Link Summon a new Snatchy if your opponent activates a card or effect. These new options fill so many weaknesses from the originally released batch of Yummy cards, so you should definitely not undervalue their impact! Hope you enjoy the replays in this hybrid build, but if 2 themes wasn’t enough, check back next time for twice as many themes combined into one build!
