2026 is the 30th anniversary for the manga, so it’s not a surprise they’d want to bring it home for this.

If I get to go to this Worlds, I will be sure to speak in very slow, enunciated, obnoxious English and talk really loud, as if the other people are hard-of-hearing… and use a lot of douchy phrases like “so in your culture” or “oh wow, I feel so honored”… and be banned from Japan for life for being an average American tourist
