    CDP: Regenesis Kashtira

    QuincymccoyBy QuincymccoyJuly 19, 2025No Comments

Control that can still OTK? Let’s Do It!

    Replays:

    Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for another CDP, and today we are featuring the iconic combination of Kashtira and Regenesis, two themes that just love to easily Special Summon big monsters from the hand. First up is the Regenesis, the new theme of Level 7 and Level 8 monsters that return to hand during the End Phase, after being sent to the GY during the opponent’s turn. Regenesis Archfiend and Regenesis itself lead the way, ensuring that you always have the right Regenesis support cards, while Regenesis Code and Regenesis Birth Special Summon even more Regenesis monsters to the board. Since this theme supports any and all monsters with 2500 ATK and/or 2500 DEF, this particularly works well with Replicard LAD, the TCG World Premiere Cyberse monster that can Special Summon a free monster from the deck, and in here, you have access to a variety of options. Summoning it is a blast by banishing any Level 7+ Monster, which happens to synergize with the Kashtira theme as well!

That’s right, the Kashtira are next and they bring the banishing pain. Whether it is Kashtira Fenrir or Kashtira Unicorn, this control theme has been around the meta for so long for a reason by introducing consistent big beatsticks, turn after turn. At the end of the day, these two themes have so much in common like that, to the tune that you can best describe it as a modern day Dino-Rabbit: it controls the duel as much as it can, but its ultimate win condition is repeatedly hitting the opponent with big sticks. With that, hope you enjoy the new face of control with this stat-line heavy strategy!
