Artmwgia is the Next Lore series of archetypes (power patrons)
This archetype goes REALLY well with mikanko too
Rumors from Reddit said the remaining slots might be 2 main deck monsters, 2 synchro monsters, and 1 spell card that ties back to a well known anime/manga popular deck that’s allegedly tied to a previous pack. I assume it’s Dark Magician. I hope it is and I hope it’s the combo starters to make DM really good. It does make sense because a Redditor pointed out that Artmegia took the slot of the trap card, knowing Dark Magic Amulet just came out so that does sound accurately relevant.
With reprints and promotional material it seems to be Rose Dragons.

Nahhh its Masked heros we just got a masked hero pack not long ago with 1 new fusion and two main deck. One of the two main deck masked heroes is a original
but we are still missing five others. We got dusk crow, but missing the other manga ones

Is this archtype supposed to be apart of the new Lore storyline along with Artmegia?

@Venom – yes Astellar/Diabellstar is considered the main character of the Sinful Spoils Lore.
They have a Machine Appearance, the Archetype’s Main Deck Members are DARK Dragon (we’re close to the Dragon-Mecha-Waifu Trinity. All that’s missing is the 100% pure Waifu Deck)
Anyway, Medius the Innocent had to learn super fast since the Antagonistic Group arrived without much warning and caused chaos (and the future says Medius will be corrupted/gain a demonic form)
He got one here, Doom-Z Break Diactorus is the Doom-Z version of Artmage Diactorus which is the Artmage version of Medius. If you meant an actual fiend version for a different one of the future archetypes in this lore, then I completely agree as it’s been the standard by now🙂
Overdrive seems to be hinting towards a demonic form, unless that design has been used already and I just don’t remember lol
He actually predicts that Artmage Graflare gets corrupted, likely as a result of that weapon Doom-Z Zero uses to achieve his Xyz form.
I don’t like how overdesigned and busy this new archtype looks, reminds me of Psychic End Punisher.
Also the new Artmegia S/T look decent but not good enough to justify hard locking you into fusion.
Be careful when handling these cards. Don’t want to cut yourself with all this edge.

Hate to break it you venom, but those come out in June of each year, and was replaced by the tactical try pack this year. We aren’t getting one till maybe next year, but extremely unlikely
Weren’t Tactical-Try Pack supposed to replace the Duelist Pack this year. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if were not even getting a Terminal World 3 this year.
Not exactly, Duelist packs were may releases for the past 3 years, and finished the final attribute series of them last year. Tactical Try Pack is support for 3 different decks so it seems like the successor to them but is taking the exact release slot (ie day) of June that would be for the animation chronicles if it was gonna happen this year. It’s likely we just lost a pack slot atm, which did happen with DBPs a bit ago when they took an extended break between releases.
Terminal world 3 tho is still very likely to happen, as usually Konami likes to do things in 3 or 4s
“Zero” in “Doom-Z Zero – Drastia” is written as XII, just like number 12 on the clock can means either 12 or 0.

Wait, how are you summoning the Rank 10 without Overdrive? I do find it interesting that none of the cards that have to do with Equip Spells care about which Equip Spell. Which is good, because D.O.O.M.D.U.R.G seems a bit booty.
And Overdrive is not even part of the archetype.

You can target any other monster with PP Doom X , so I’m guessing the lore explanation is the intended target outside of the alt summoning condition would be Nerva, PP of Creation

Ocg konami NEVER learns! Every deck they print has some bs as a crucial part of it (either omni negates or floodgates), or is just bad. I’m tired of this.
I’d rather get 1000 more decks like ashened and tistina than whatever this is.
Konami has stated that one of their design philosophies is to make an oppressive style deck, a heavy combo style deck and a deck with cute/appealing stuff. We’ll always be getting one or more of those in some form.

The new Artmegia cards are pretty awful, which is a pity. Although Theorealize Overdrive could be “saved” with just the right card to enable it. Something like “Add 1 “Theorealize” card from your deck to your hand and if you do, you can send 1 “Medius the Pure” from your deck to the GY” on an Artmegia spell would make it a pretty good 1 of.
But as it is right now, the Artmegia needs more power more than anything else.
Therion Irregular with 3 monsters equipped can make the Doom Z Boss monster is funny af. lol Regulus is crazy with the new Power Patron Machine Monster too!

I mean I doubt it will be anything special because it doesn’t have many one card combos (from what I can tell) but that continuous trap is some absolutely insane disruption and searchable as well. I haven’t looked through the list of equip spells, I thought that a theoretical durendal path could be good, angela’s angelic ring will most likely be usable, but I believe a mikanko engine would be pretty good in this since arabesque is a one card and they only use rituals and xyz monsters anyways. It would still probably be best pure though

I’m honestly disappointed with the Artmagia cards, they pretty much don’t do anything and you’re Brafu locked because of them. they don’t fix any of the deck’s issues, don’t increase it’s strengths, nor do they offer any new options for the deck. The spell is maybe a one of but it could have been much much better. Doom-Z seems fun but also has the issue of it’s 1C combos needing Medius. Can’t wait to see the other lore decks, we might get synchro, link, or even ritual decks.

DOOM Z NOUVELLES UP NEXT
I love edgy gothic punk art, not surprising, as that is partly why I got drawn into Yugioh from the start. I also like eerie villain themes, so some of these cards appeal nicely to me! My faves so far are Elara. Power Patron Machine Doom-Z, and Jupiter… and the rest are just ok. Far as the effect gimmicks, the equip focus idea seems cool, equips always been a card type hard to make very competitive in this game, so it’ll be interesting to see how it does this time. The self destruction gimmick is nothing new nowadays, but it does tend to work well when we see it. Overall as a set, I give the card a 8 outta 10 currently.

My apathy levels are reaching levels not thought possible. I’ve been distracted by final fantasy mtg and for once I’d rather theory-craft over what I’d replace the guest cards with in the limited pool than theory-craft over ygo mechanics and erratas. And it looks like I missed out on nothing expect neo new Yusei deck.
