Another card that specifies Spells/Traps can be placed into the Extra Deck. Even if it is futureproofing, I believe given past precedent there will be a new mechanic soon related to this.

That’s not even what’s happening here, this is the larva stage of the high level delirum bosses
A lot more decks going forward are probably gonna have this kind of backrow protection. Larva is also fairly easy to remove and can’t be contact’d so you’re using a fusion spell on a fairly weak monster for an attack buff and bounce prevention.
I just hope Konami isn’t dumb enough to give a deck consistent ways into both forms of protection in the future.
The only thing I can think of is that all this Anti-Bounce protection is due to Raiza and Over Rush Storm as a way to Counter them.
Hmm. It’s interesting to note that all three Decks have protection against Bounce in some way: with Red-Eyes having a Monster that shares a similarity in Effect with this Fusion Monster.
Anyway, Delirium no longer has a Slot for more Fusion Monsters, so the Deck will have to defend itself with what it has.
…the implication of spell/trap cards returning to Extra Deck is probabl most interesting part of this card. And that art, my God she’s so cute! ToT!!!!!
