Name Explanations:
Tenten uses 昆遁忍虫 Konton Ninchuu. The name is one of those ‘multiple jokes going on at once’ things.
昆遁 sounds like 混沌 (Konton) i.e. Chaos
遁 (Ton) is used to refer to Ninjutsu that are used to escape from enemies
昆虫 (Konchuu) means Insect.
So basically they’re chaotic escape-artist ninja insects.
However, Eva has pointed out to me that 遁 is usually untranslated, so I’m going with Konton Ninsect for the theme name.
I avoided translating the insect names as this is a group of Ninja, and thus treating them as Japanese.

Note: Chuubaika is a play on 虫媒花 (entomophilous flower).

Anyone else starting to think that Yuga’s fear of ladybugs is a case of genetic memory?
I doubt any of these will get printed but I like the idea of Insect being a control theme in Rush rather than extension
I feel like this DARK Insect Deck will have the same fate as Pierce Deck: it wasn’t printed until some Megaroad Pack (which at this point seems to be the equivalent of Animation Chronicle for Rush)
And well, the Insect gimmick in Rush Duels was expanded thanks to Delirium’s Monsters: who could play with the idea of turning Monsters of any Type into Insect (Delirium Lampyris is just waiting for a good Insect Deck in Rush Duels)
I’ve always liked when they’ve represented the insects as being a conniving deck.
weaker monsters that compensate by doing things to the opponent’s field and deck.

You know when they originally pitched the idea that characters would be getting their ancestor versions in this season, I was originally pretty excited. it’s a fun way to reuse a voice actor and a character concept by spinning it in a new direction.
but everybody just plays the same type of deck they were playing in sevens and had a similar personality, the only example against that is Manabu who played a elemental deck and Rovian who was a much different character.
seeing her in action, is kind of like the worst of this idea. she’s just the same character again.
This “Konton Ninsect” Deck or whatever you want to call it is the second Insect Deck that Rush Duels has that you can tell has a clear identity since…. Gi-ant Revolution.
I mean that, unlike Nana’s Ladybug Deck in SEVENS, Tenten’s Ninsect Deck is clear about what it wants to be: a group of DARK Insect with Continuous Effects that play with the idea of changing the Monster Type to Insect.
