Type altering, just as expected.
FINALY A TYPE CHANGING
And have a rock type, we just wrong who is:V
Metarion is finally ballin…
These are all pretty great. Baller/Bowler gives you easy access to the stronger effects of the older fusions and Medustar is pretty unique disruption or a simple Fiend pop.
Golem and Geniustar are the “losers” of the set but not because they’re bad. Golem is an easy mill 2 and small burn while Geniustar absolutely ruins Rock decks and is still a fresh card and Fullmetarion Ashurastar mat at worse. Biggest issue with them is how many options the deck has for both mills and fusions.
Okay so it is technically possible now for Fire Jester to get a Fusion at some point, but the Fusion’s Level and stats may be altered to reflect its own reduced Level and ATK.
It baffles me we still don’t have a Psychic one yet much less anything else that directly supports Monster Reincarnation as marketed.
Seeing that Metarion has 3 Slots left (a Monster, a Spell Card and a Trap Card), I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the last ones here mentions Monster Reincarnation for some Effect.
In fact, I can already see this as a Zwijo’s Deck situation with Dark Hole: a Spell Card (here or in the future) acquires the name Monster Reincarnation in the GY.
But I do agree that it’s funny that they left Psychic out of the Metarion party (even though Romin and Gavin were responsible for helping Yuo’s redemption, but people who saw the Dub don’t know this)
Imaginary Reactor supports Monster Reincarnation directly, lol
True, I expected a bigger push for Monster Reincarnation. Also, I am disappointed with the Gyakutenno neglect. They were some of Yuo’s bosses after all.
I suspect at least one of the remaining cards in here to reference or support Megami.
Megami gets a star next?
Okay, so many guessed correctly about Anti-Rock… but the wrong Fusion Monster.
In fact, Medustar and Geniustar join King Cobrastar as the most peculiar Fusion members of the Metarion family. At least Metarion Fusion exists to cover those compatibility issues of LIGHT Monsters with 500 DEF.
Of the new ones, Medustar is the best of the bunch, so much so that the generic Effect is much more useful than Anti-Fiend’s Effect. Oddly, I feel that Evil Baller is the best thing that could happen to Metarion as far as Main Monsters go: now those situational Effects of the rest of Metarion’s Fusion Monsters will be more useful.
And well, for some reason, Imaginary Arc Turnover was left out of these revelations.
Now all we need is a Metarion fusion’s to counter beast, plant, aqua, psychic, and machine type monsters. Hut personally I would love to see a Materion maximum monster that allows you to shuffle what you need back into your deck.
