CDP: Evil HERO Primoredial with OG Elemental HEROes, ft. SUDA Support

Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for a new month of CDPs, and kicking off September is my build featuring the new Evil HERO support from the upcoming Supreme Darkness core set. The Evil HERO theme has always been a HERO subtheme that existed on the fringes of the HERO deck, with its biggest claim to fame being Evil HERO Adusted Gold tutoring a copy of Dark Calling to make Evil HERO Malicious Bane. However, all of that will soon change with the new 9-card wave in SUDA. Up first is Evil HERO Inferno Wing – Infernal Backlash (YGOrg Translation), a Level 6 Fusion of Elemental HERO Avian or Elemental HERO Burstinatrix and any other HERO. On summon, it tutors or recovers Dark Fusion or something that mentions it, grabbing anything from Dark Contact (YGOrg Translation) for a follow-up ‘Dark’ Fusion Summon using monsters from your GY or banishment to Evil Assault (YGOrg Translation) which Special Summons a Level 4 or lower Evil HERO from your deck. For the new HEROes, Evil HERO Doom Prison (YGOrg Translation) gets to send any HERO monster from the deck to the GY to serve as a substitute for any named monster for a HERO Fusion Summon, then Evil HERO Toxic Bubble (YGOrg Translation) lets you draw 2 cards if it is Special Summoned while you control a Fusion Monster that must be summoned with Dark Fusion.

Now these options certainly be great for the ultimate HERO teamup that I showcased a few months back, but if you combine them with Xtra HERO Infernal Devicer and the OG Normal Monster Elemental HEROs, you certainly have everything you’d need to succeed. You see, when you Link Summon Devicer, you can grab both Burstinatrix and Avian by revealing Backlash, Burstinatrix and Elemental HERO Clayman by revealing Evil HERO Infernal Sniper, or Clayman and Elemental HERO Sparkman by revealing Evil HERO Lighting Golem. Of course, you can also grab any of these straight out of the deck with Elemental HERO Spirit of Neos! Where that takes the deck is up to you, whether it is Fusion Summoning with Polymerization, Super Polymerization, Miracle Fusion, Favorite Contact, or any of the suite of Dark Fusion support cards.

Rounding out the build today also benefits from the use of Normal Monsters: The Primoredial! Backed by Primoredial Schiller (YGOrg Translation) and Primoredial Imperialode (YGOrg Translation), this theme offers consistency and even more disruption, at least more than your average HERO build. Combine that with Protection of the Elements and the new Dark Supremacy (YGOrg Translation), and you have even more disruptive options than ever before! If that’s not enough, since we are running Elemental HERO Neos in here, you can even turn to Evil HERO Neos Lord (YGOrg Translation), the cover card of the upcoming set, to steal away your opponents’ monsters to win the duel for you! Step up your game with the new and improved Evil HERO support!
